JBL makes some of our favourite portable Bluetooth speakers, and the JBL Tune 230NC has a strong musical heritage. These tiny buds weigh only 10g and come with three sizes of silicone ear tips. The JBL Tune 230NC contains two microphones on each earpiece for ANC and voice call features and is water-resistant to IPX4 standards. Unfortunately, the headset does not have a wear detecting feature that will play or pause your music automatically. The JBL Tune 230NC includes its own indicator lights that display whether or not they are connected, as well as a touch-sensitive zone on the top of each stem. The JBL Tune 230NC’s active noise cancellation is rudimentary, as is typical of low-cost true wireless headsets. While it did reduce background noise when used indoors, it was much less effective when used outside, or even with windows open at home.
The JBL Tune 230NC’s battery life is excellent, with the earpieces lasting roughly 6 hours and 30 minutes with ANC activated and moderate volume levels. The charging case adds three further charges, giving the device a total runtime of about 26 hours each charge cycle. This is the best noise-cancelling one at this price point, with audio quality that does not detract from the experience. Noise cancellation is becoming more inexpensive and without sacrifices, which is great news for music fans. The JBL Tune 230 NC is a must-have for anyone looking for noise cancellation that can be used for both work and play.
JBL Tune 230NC Price in India
The JBL Tune 230NC true wireless earbuds aren’t the most expensive in JBL’s lineup, but they do give a good overall performance for INR 5,999.
JBL is known for its durable Bluetooth speakers, but the JBL Tune 230NC TWS wants to bring that quality to earbuds as well. These earphones are lightweight, and according to the maker, they include a lot of sonic tricks. The Tune 230NC TWS is an excellent companion if you prefer to listen to your favourite music while commuting or exercising. You can adjust the noise cancelling of these earphones while on the fly, which comes in useful whether purchasing coffee or hearing traffic announcements. Using them during exercises won’t be a problem, either, because they’re sweat and splashproof. Furthermore, understanding the tap controls allows you to quickly reach your voice assistant. On a hectic day, that will undoubtedly come in handy for catching up on notifications or asking for directions. However, as appealing as all of this is, the Tune 230NC TWS isn’t really comfy. Furthermore, unusual usage idiosyncrasies such as chirping when the battery drops below 50% and an unsteady charging case make it less enticing overall.
