Vivo T4 Design And Build
Vivo T4 has a sleek design with a body dimension of 163.4 x 76.4 x 7.9 mm. Its in-hand feel is very pleasing, but finishing was a little bit concerning for me. If you see all four corners from the back, you will see a look like small rifts. Moreover, its back does not take finger stains. Overall, its quad curved display gives it a premium look.
This phone weighs an average of 199 grams, while the Vivo T3 weighs an average of 184 grams. The reason for its bulkiness is its large battery. In this box, you get a protective transparent case to protect the body. However, this phone is MIL-STD-810H compliant, but does not guarantee ruggedness or use in extreme conditions.
Moreover, this phone comes in two colours of Phantom Grey and Emerald Blaze, which I’m using right now. Its Emerald Blaze gives an eye-catching look. But it has a large, rounded camera bump on the back, which I particularly dislike. This type of design is more prone to damage than the Vivo V50 camera shape.
Let’s move to its buttons and other jack placements. This phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor, and its right side of the body has a power button and volume buttons. Right there, it has a single sound strip, a Type-C jack, a microphone and a SIM tray at the bottom of the phone. You also get a second microphone on the top of the phone. There is no IR blaster.
One essential thing to note is that the Vivo T4 has only an IP65 rating, which is relatively low. It can have an IP67 or IP68 rating, which is common in this price range.

Vivo T4 Camera
Vivo T4 has a 50mp (wide) + 2mp (depth) rear camera. I would say, it’s rear camera delivers an average camera result in some cases. I’m saying average, because its rear camera captures excellent images, but AI processing decreases its quality a little bit.
I clicked many images under different conditions. If you use it during the golden hours, then it delivers perfect results. Greenery, soil colours and environmental shades come out beautifully.
I also clicked some images in portrait mode, and the edges are perfectly defined in the result.
But the quality drastically decreased in low light, as usual, in most of the Vivo phones.
It delivers almost perfect images in night photography with a flashlight. I also clicked some close shots, it’s impressive.
Let’s talk about its front camera, which offers outstanding selfies without extra saturation.
In terms of videography, users can record 4K videos at 30 frames per second (fps) with both the rear and front cameras. Overall, the Vivo T4 camera review is average. In Gennaro Gattuso words, “sometimes maybe good and sometimes maybe shit”
Vivo T4 Battery And Charging
The battery is the main USP of the Vivo T4. It comes with a robust 7,300mAh battery. Vivo claims to last up to 52 hours of talk time, 87 hours of music playback, 35 hours of video streaming, and 15 hours of non-stop gaming.
Really, the battery experience was insane for me. I played a lot of BGMI and other games, and it feels like that battery is draining, like water drops slowly.
To determine the exact timing of charging, I switched off the phone after the battery drained and then plugged it in to charge. So, this was fully charged in one hour, which is good after having a large battery. You also get a 90w fast charger in the box.
Vivo T4 Display
Vivo T4 has a 6.77-inch AMOLED with 1B colours. So, it offers accurate colours in videos. This display features a 120Hz refresh rate, which is also a good feature. In the settings, you can change it to a 60Hz refresh rate with smart refresh, which adjusts according to the usage scenario.
This phone also has an 800 nits (typ), 1300 nits (HBM) and 5000 nits (peak) brightness. I used it in extreme sunlight, and everything was perfectly visible. To protect the display from scratches, a Ceramic Shield is here.
This technology is known for its exceptional scratch resistance. However, if you think of Gorilla Glass Victus 2, it is known for its ability to withstand drops, especially on rough surfaces.
Vivo T4 offers an Always-on-display feature, but it takes more battery than normal mode. Its display has a 1080 x 2392 pixels resolution and 388 ppi density.
Users can also consume HDR content from Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. So, overall, the Vivo T4 display review is excellent.

Vivo T4 Performance
Vivo T4 performs the best in the performance segment. I played a lot of BGMI games, continuously for 2-3 hours or more. However, this phone doesn’t heat up for a bit during gameplay. This phone has a Qualcomm SM7635 Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (4 nm) chipset, which is also sound fine in this price range.
There is no lag issue or glitches, and it runs smoothly during multimedia use. One of my concerns is having UFS 2.2, and it should be more. Similarly, several phones offering UFS 3.1 or even UFS 4.0 are available in the same price range.
I did several Benchmark tests on the Vivo T4 to check its accurate performance in different aspects. Its Geekbench scores are 1165 in single-core and 3231 in multi-core. There is no CPU thermal throttling detected in the test. Moreover, its Antutu score is 802959. In the 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability, its overall score is 99.5 per cent.
One thing also should be added, there is no heat issue with this phone, I even used the camera for hours and played games. However, recently, I was using Nothing Phone 3a, but the phone got hot after one hour of photography.
Vivo T4 Software and UI
Vivo T4 comes with Android 15 based on Funtouch 15. This phone comes with up to two years of Android upgrades, which should be more.
Its UI is almost clean and has perfect animation while you slide something.
However, its down point is that it comes with hot games, hot apps, instant games and other apps. But you can uninstall them as you like; otherwise, this thing can slow down your phone.
There are also a few AI features that boost your productivity day-to-day. It has a 120Hz refresh rate, so its UI gives a smooth experience. You can also customise the preset UI.
Overall, the Vivo T4 is the perfect phone for daily use. Its battery life is impressive due to the 7,300mAh battery. Moreover, its back finish is also outstanding because it won’t take fingerprint stains. Display and performance are also sound good, you can consume HDR content and do not have any lag issues. No heating is the best thing about this phone.
However, there are also a few concerns, such as the Vivo T4 coming with only a two-year update promise. You get a UFS 2.2 type storage, which can be at least 3.1. There is no IR blaster, but it does have an IP65 rating and pre-installed bloatware. One thing I’m concerned about is that it’s a large camera bump.
Before buying, after reading the Vivo T4 review, consider a few phones in the same price range and compare their specs with the Vivo T4. Here are some phones like iQOO Z10, Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, Motorola Edge 60 Stylus, Realme P3 Pro, OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G, etc. Thanks for reading the complete Vivo T4 review.
