Realme GT 7 Design And Build
The Realme GT 7 has a decent look; I wouldn’t say it’s eye-catching. This phone features a plastic back, which is typically absent in mid-range phones. It also has a plastic frame, but आस powerful as a metal-built.
I’m using IceSense Blue colour, which is quite decent, but everyone has their own colour preferences. Realme changed the camera module from last year’s Realme GT 6. Now, it has a minimal camera bump, which is a good thing.
There is a red colour accent on the camera design, giving it a unique look with the “Hyperimage+” print. It has a plastic backing, but does not absorb any finger stains.
The Realme GT 7 features a flat design, making it ideal for gamers. On the right side of the phone, has a volume button and a power button in red colour. Hence, the phone features a volume strip, a Type-C jack, a microphone, and a SIM tray on the bottom. Right there, users get a secondary volume on top of the phone, including an IR blaster.
This phone also features an IP69 rating for dust-tight and water-resistant properties, which can withstand high-pressure water jets and be submerged up to 1.5 meters underwater for 30 minutes. Its body dimensions are 162.4 x 76.1 x 8.3 mm, and it weighs 206 grams. Overall, the Realme GT 7 design review is excellent except for its colour, which is totally my preference.

Realme GT 7 Camera
The Realme GT 7 features a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP wide-angle lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. It produces decent camera results in all conditions. If you’re looking for a camera phone, I would recommend avoiding the Realme GT 7.
I’m here few images that I clicked in different conditions. I took most of the pictures around 4 to 5 PM for natural light. However, you would see my niece’s image with a slight amount of saturation.
I also clicked some vegetable flowers and corn crops, but it picked real colours without adding extra effects.
The scene features lush greenery and a vivid blue sky. However, things took a turn for the worse when I switched to portrait mode.
The results showed significant graininess, and the edges were not captured clearly, despite the abundant natural light.
I also took some close-up shots, but they experienced the same issue with poor edge detection of the subjects.
In terms of the front camera, there is a 32MP front camera, which is quite decent compared to the Vivo V50, given the same price.
There is nothing to exaggerate about camera quality, as it is already exceptional. I’ve included some front camera images, which you can view.
The Realme GT 7 supports 8K and 4K video recording at 30fps with its rear camera, which is a notable feature. I also recorded some videos to check if it is capturing perfect sound, which is excellent. Its front camera also supports 4K video recording.
Realme GT 7 Battery And Charging
The Realme GT 7 has one of the best batteries found in a smartphone. It features a remarkable 7,000mAh battery, which is exceptional for its price range. I’ve been using this phone for the past 15 days and have not encountered any issues with battery drain. If you do experience low battery, you can quickly recharge it with the included 120W fast charger. In just 14 minutes, the phone can charge to 50 per cent.
Realme claims that it can reach 50 per cent charge in just 14 minutes and 100 per cent in 40 minutes, which I found to be accurate during my testing. The battery drains very slowly; even with intensive use playing BGMI, I enjoyed over 15 hours of battery life.
If used normally, the phone can last almost 21 hours on a single charge. Overall, the Realme GT 7 battery review is outstanding and a dream for any phone user.
Realme GT 7 Display
The Realme GT 7 boasts a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,264 x 2,780 pixels and a pixel density of 450 PPI. It has ArmorShell glass to protect the display from accidental damage.
Users can watch HDR content on YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc, because it supports HDR10+ content. It is a colour video, also good, you will not see any colour drop during movies.
I also used it in sunlight, and you will face very minimal difficulty seeing it. It works better due to its 600 nits (typical), 1600 nits (HBM), and 6000 nits (peak) brightness levels. There is also a 2160Hz PWM and a 120Hz refresh rate, which helps you to fast display scrolling.
The Realme GT 7 features a screen adjustment that optimises the display’s smoothness according to your activity. When you’re playing games, the screen refreshes at a higher rate of 120Hz, making everything feel very smooth.
Additionally, the phone allows you to select different refresh rates for individual apps, enabling you to take advantage of smoothness while gaming, even if other apps are set to display images at a slower rate, such as 60Hz or 90Hz.
Realme GT 7 Performance
Realme claims that the Realme GT 7 is a performance-based phone. It comes with Mediatek Dimensity 9400e (4 nm), which offers decent performance. This phone also comes in three storage variants such as 256GB storage 8GB RAM, 256GB storage 12GB RAM, and 512GB storage 12GB RAM.
One of the best features of UFS 4.0 storage inclusion is that it helps reduce battery drain and enables fast data processing.
I conducted several Benchmark tests on the Realme GT 7 to evaluate its accurate performance in various aspects. Its Geekbench scores are 1564 in single-core and 3645 in multi-core. The maximum in the CPU throttling test is 58 per cent. Moreover, its Antutu score is 1599504. The 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability has an overall score of 51.2 per cent.
The Realme GT 7 claims to be a gaming phone, and it even features a dedicated GT mode for gaming. However, one significant issue with this phone is excessive heating. Not once, but several times, I experienced extreme heating just after one or two hours of continuous BGMI gameplay. Even, I reached a moment where I could hardly scroll the screen due to overheating.
To verify whether this issue is specific to BGMI or also affects other games, I played Asphalt 9 continuously for one hour, and I faced the same heating problem. So far, I have reviewed almost 35+ phones, ranging from low-end to flagship, but I have not encountered this type of heating.
Yes, I got a new feature in this phone during BGMI, which was AI-suggested gameplay, which helped a lot in being aware of enemies near me. During your BGMI gameplay, gamers will get AI suggestions like an enemy spotted on the east. In terms of performance, I’m not impressed with the Realme GT 7 review.
Realme GT 7 Software and UI
Realme GT 7 has the latest Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0. The company has promised four major updates, plus 5 years of security patches.
In addition to everything else, you’ll find some pre-installed apps like Fitbit, Finshell Pay, AI Studio, Clone Phone, etc on your device. It’s a good idea to turn these off; otherwise, you might see a lot of unwanted ads.
If you still receive notifications after doing this, they usually come from a few specific apps, such as the App Store, internet browser, Realme Store, and theme store. You’ll need to turn off notifications for all of these. Once you do that, your user interface will work smoothly, and you won’t get annoying notifications.
There are also many useful AI features available, such as a AI Eraser, AI Ultra Clarity / Smart Cut-out, AI Motion Deblur (Unblur), AI Glare/Reflection Remover, AI Face Enhancement/Clear Face, Animations & Pro‑Esports Display, AI recording summary, AI Studio, AI Portrait, AI Reimage, AI Motion, to enhance editing tools, Google Gemini support, AI Planner etc. One more thing that I really like is the animations.
You will see smooth animations when you open, close, and switch between apps. The animations when you look at your recent apps are also very impressive.

In this Realme GT 7 Review, one thing is clear that the phone delivers big on battery life, display quality, and AI features. But fails to maintain that momentum when it comes to gaming performance and rear camera quality. With a 7,000mAh battery, 120W fast charging, and a 6,000 nits LTPO AMOLED screen, the GT 7 is a dream on paper. You also get AI tools like AI Eraser, Motion Deblur, and even AI gameplay suggestions during BGMI, which genuinely enhance the experience.
However, the phone’s heating issues during extended gaming sessions are a deal-breaker, especially when rivals like the iQOO Neo 9 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 handle thermal loads more effectively. Similarly, the OnePlus 12 stands out for its cleaner UI and more consistent camera output, as well as its gaming capabilities.
If your priority is a long-lasting battery, a top-tier display, and an AI-enhanced user experience, the Realme GT 7 is a solid choice. However, for gamers or photography enthusiasts, better-balanced alternatives are available in the same price range.
