Vivo TWS 2 Design and Comfort
Starting our Vivo TWS 2 review with the design, the earbuds come in a round case that can easily slide into your pocket. On the front of the case, you get a function key and a status light. There is also a Vivo branding. The case has a glossy finish which is subjective to fingerprints and scratches. So, you have to be very careful in keeping it. Also, the case weighs 41.9 g which is quite lightweight. On the bottom, you get a type C port to charge the case.
Now, coming to the buds, the earbuds weigh about 4.7 grams and are quite comfortable in the ears. I kept wearing the buds for around five hours straight and did not find any discomfort. The in-ear design makes these buds even more comfortable. The Vivo TWS 2 comes bundled with extra eartips and so you can also change the ear tips as per your requirements.
The Vivo TWS 2 comes with an IP54 rating which makes them dust and water-resistant. I used the buds while being at the gym, and I was really surprised as neither the buds fell down while doing exercise, but it was able to withstand sweat too.

Vivo TWS 2 Audio Quality
Moving ahead with my Vivo TWS 2 review, I decided to check the audio quality for various songs and volume levels. To my surprise, the earbuds did not fail to amuse me. There are different modes, including Standard, Clear Voice, Mega Bass and Clear High Pitch. I tested each one of them and got the same result- great audio quality. However, I felt that the bass could have been a little better.
The earbuds also feature Active Noise Cancellation, which works okayish. The buds can cancel up to 40 decibels of ambient sound. I tried the earbuds in a noisy cafe, and it was able to eliminate the background noise to a greater extent. However, when compared to Nothing Ear (1), the noise cancellation feature lacks a bit behind.
On the call, I was able to hear the person on the other side clearly. You also get to choose between the different modes available, including Adaptive, Depth, Standard and Mild noise cancellation.
Vivo TWS 2 Battery Life & Charging
The Vivo TWS 2 comes with a 505mAh battery for the charging case and a 45mAh battery capacity for earbuds. The earbuds claim to be offering upto 7 and half hours of standalone battery life while up to 4.1 hours of life with active noise cancellation.
However, it is just on paper. When in reality, I got up to 5 hours of battery life when listening to music. And while in the case of calls, the battery lasted less than 4 hours.
The case promises to deliver 29 hours of total battery life but without ANC. But I got up to 22 hours of life for mixed usage, which is not bad either. The case can charge the buds four times.
Also, the earbuds take around 1 hour to be fully charged and do not support fast charging. Charging the case along with buds takes 2 hours. This is a drawback at this point as the fast charging support is available in a lot of cheaper models.

Vivo TWS 2 Features And Connectivity
The Vivo TWS 2 comes with Bluetooth version 5.2 with high-quality codec and low latency. This is great when playing games. I found pairing the buds really easy. All you need is to put the buds in the case and press the function key on the case for about two seconds. Next, the LED light will start blinking, which means the buds are now ready to be paired to a device.
Now, you need to open the Bluetooth Settings on your device and simply tap on the Vivo TWS 2 and connect the buds. The connectivity offered by the Vivo TWS 2 is secure and reliable. I found the connection extremely pleasant, and not even once the connection dropped in my case.
Vivo has dropped the touch control and adopted pressure sensitive feature with the Vivo TWS 2. You will need two fingers to apply pressure on the buds to control audio, calls, switch among modes, etc. In my case, I did find it a bit challenging to locate the exact spot to where the pressure works but once found; the buds are easier to control. You can also control the volume by swiping up or down on the bud’s stem.
Furthermore, the Vivo TWS 2 comes with a companion app from Vivo, which lets you operate the buds much better. You can use the app to switch between modes, control sound effects and do a lot more.

That’s my take on the Vivo TWS 2 review!! The Vivo TWS 2 definitely serves the purpose, but the price you are paying for it is too much. The ANC earbuds offer decent audio quality and good noise cancellation features, but you can get other better options in this price range. The battery life, however, is the USP of the earbuds. Overall, if the price is not the bar for you, you can go for the Vivo TWS 2.
