AAGO VIBE Review: A Decent First Step Into The TWS Market

Before we talk in detail about the AAGO VIBE, let’s see what the on-paper specs look like:

AAGO VIBE comes with a simple design, like other standard earbuds on the market. The earbud is available in two colours. The upper case and earbuds are in black, while the inner case has an orange colour tone similar to the brand colour.

The case’s opening and closing mechanism is a bit tighter, but you can easily open or close it with a single finger. So, even if you shake the case hard, it will not open easily. Overall, the case is made of decent-quality plastic, so I can’t say its build quality and finish are outstanding.

To prevent the case from being slippery, both sides have a textured finish for a better grip in hand. Moreover, it has a hook slot for a strap, but the strap is missing from the box, which should have been included. You can charge it through the Type-C cable that you get in the box.

The brand has also added a small LED indicator that shows the charging status. If the blue light is showing, the case and earbuds are fully charged or have more than around 60 per cent battery. If you see a red LED, it means the battery is low, and the case needs to be charged.

Now talking about the ear fit, you only get a single standard-size eartip with the AAGO VIBE. Usually, earbuds come with three different sizes of eartips for better size variability and a more customised fit.

However, during my AAGO VIBE review, I wore them for a long time and never felt that the earbuds were falling out of my ears. Even when I shook my head, they stayed firmly in place. So, despite having only one standard-size eartip, the fitting quality is actually quite good.

Talking about AAGO VIBE, the sound quality is quite decent. These earbuds come with a 10mm driver, a common size for TWS earbuds. During my AAGO VIBE review, I listened to some Karan Aujla songs with high beats and Arijit Singh songs with more emphasis on vocals and mids.

When listening to high-beat songs or remixes at higher volume for a long time, I felt some discomfort and stress in my ears. The highs can sound quite loud and harsh, especially since there is no proper isolation, making the sound feel more direct in your ears. I found it better to listen to these songs at around 60 per cent volume for a more comfortable experience.

On the other hand, Arijit Singh’s songs, in which vocals and mid-range frequencies are more prominent, offered a much better listening experience. I could clearly hear the vocals and individual words, while the lows were noticeable without overpowering them.

AAGO VIBE comes with up to 28 hours of battery support. But while checking the spec sheet shared by the brand, I noticed there is no official disclosure about the mAh battery capacity. I have been using these earbuds for the last three days, and I feel the battery claim is quite accurate.

I charged these earbuds only two times during this period. Most of the time, I used them to listen to songs, attend meetings, and talk on calls.
