Sony WF-C500 Design And Comfort
Let’s start the Sony WF-C500 review with the physical design part. The Sony WF-C500 features a small and lightweight build. The overall weight of these earbuds with the case is just 35 grams. So you can easily fit them in your pocket. Talking about the case, you get a pill-shaped case with a translucent top.

The translucent finish on the top gives the earbuds a slightly cheap feel, but the plus point is that you can check the battery status from there without having to open the lid. I personally loved this attempt by Sony. Opening the case with one hand is not easy. Furthermore, at the back of the case, you get Type-C charging support.
Inside the case, the earbuds are placed with strong magnet support. Speaking of the buds, the earbuds are built primarily of plastic, but they don’t appear cheap or inexpensive. The eartips are made up of Silicone which rests comfortably against the ear, giving you a secure fit.

As for me, I really enjoyed the fact that I did not have to shove the buds back into my ears while exercising, running or walking. Also, there are two additional pairs of eartips, so you can choose your fit accordingly.
The back of the earbuds features a physical button which helps you perform the required action. The buds also have a mic opening for voice-assistant interaction.
Overall, the design of the Sony WF-C500 is not something unique, but the fit is worth the hype. The earbuds come rated with IPX4 for sweat and splash resistance, thus making them a perfect companion for your gym sessions.

So, should you buy the Sony WF-C500? That totally depends upon what your preference is! Sony WF-C500 certainly shines in two areas- secure fit and great sound. The earbuds are quite comfortable in terms of design and hence can be a good option for you. However, if you want bigger battery life, transparency mode and ANC support, this TWS earbud is not the perfect choice for you. In that case, you can choose the competitors’ Realme Buds Air 2 or Nothing Ear 1.
