The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G comes available in two variants in India. The base variant costs Rs. 13,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option, while the other variant costs Rs. 14,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option.

iQOO Z6 Lite Design and Build
The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G looks great at first glance. My Steller Green review unit comes with a shimmering back panel with a matte finish that shines when light falls on it. Enough though it’s plastic, the in hand feel is really good and doesn’t feel cheap.
The good thing is that the back keeps the fingerprints at bay and looks clean all the time. Similar to the back, the frame is also made of plastic with curved corners. The phone is comfortable to hold in hands for an extended period of time.

It has a thin profile at about 8.25mm and feels neither heavy nor light in hands with a weight of 194 grams. You get to see a power button and volume rockers on the right side while the left side is clean.
You will see a SIM card slot on the top, whereas the bottom holds the Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and a loudspeaker.
iQOO Z6 Lite Display
The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G features a Full HD+ 6.58 inch IPS LCD display. I would have appreciated if iQOO went with an AMOLED panel, as we see many phones in this price range coming with an AMOLED display.
However, iQOO makes up for it by providing a refresh rate of 120Hz with a 240Hz of touch sampling rate. The navigation experience is just great on this phone, whether you explore the UI or scroll through your Instagram feed.

The picture quality of the display is good as well. The colours were punchy and vibrant, not as much as an AMOLED but still pretty good. The texts on the screen were sharp and clear. Overall, I had a nice viewing experience on the iQOO Z6 Lite.
iQOO Z6 Lite Camera
The iQOO Z6 Lite features a dual camera setup on the back. It includes a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, you get an 8MP camera for taking selfies. You won’t see any ultra-wide lens here.
The primary camera does a good job of capturing shots in daylight. The images had a decent amount of detail and good colour accuracy. The low-light images were just decent with grains and lack of details.
Coming over to the macro lens, the less we say is better. It doesn’t take any remarkable shots to talk about. However, if you have some really steady hands, you might be able to take some passable shots.

Selfies taken in daylight, on the other hand, were sharp and well-detailed. The skin tones were close to natural and the dynamic range was good as well. The portrait shots had a good blur effect, and the phone did a good job of separating the subject from the background.
You get standard camera modes like a 50MP mode, Pro mode, Slo-mo, Time-lapse and more. One thing to note is that the night mode is limited to the 6GB variant.
The phone can record 1080p videos at 60fps from the main while the selfie camera can record video up to 1080p at 20fps.
iQOO Z6 Lite Performance and UI
Performance is where the phone truly shines. The Z6 Lite 5G from iQOO is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset which is paired with up to 6GB and 128GB storage. The phone ran smoothly and easily handled my everyday tasks without any issues.
The apps opened up quickly, and multitasking was a breeze. You can also add another 2GB of virtual RAM using the internal storage. I didn’t face any lags or shutters while using the phone.

Now it was time to push the phone further. I played a couple of graphic-intensive games like Call of Duty Mobile and Asphalt 9. The result was just mind-blowing and unexpected. COD Mobile ran super smooth on Very High graphic settings with Very High frame rates. Similarly, Asphalt 9 also ran flawlessly on High settings.
The phone comes with a 4-component colling system which helps the phone to stay cool even during long gaming sessions.
The phone runs on FuntouchOS 12 which is based on Android 12. The UI offers a lot of customisations options and features along with a bunch of pre-installed bloatware. Thankfully you can uninstall them.
iQoo Z6 Lite Battery and Charging
The iQOO Z6 Lite packs a big 5000mAh battery and is paired with 18W fast charging but there’s a catch. The phone doesn’t come with a charger in the box. It’s quite surprising as well as confusing why iQOO went with this approach.

Nonetheless, the phone offers a good battery backup and can easily survive a whole day of casual use. I got about 6-7 hours of screen on time which is quite good.
Now it was time to test the charging speed and I used my 18W charger which took more than 1.5 hours to fully charge the phone.
The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G gets most of it right and clearly wins in this price segment. iQOO has done a great job and raised the bar for everyone else in the market. The phone is a total powerhouse and runs heavy apps and graphic demanding games easily.
The main camera does a good job in taking shots in daylight and the battery backup is also nice. However, the biggest drawback here is that iQOO decided not to put a charger in the box for some reason.
Except for that, iQOO Z6 Lite is an amazing phone under 15K as you can tell by reading this quick review and gets an easy recommendation from me.
