Samsung has just unveiled two new ultra-light laptops: the standard Galaxy Book 2 Pro and the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, a 2-in-1 with a flip-up touch screen. These variants, like last year’s models, connect even better with Samsung’s device ecosystem, offering Windows and Android continuity that other manufacturers can only dream of. These may be the next PCs to consider if you currently own a Samsung phone or tablet.

After a tough few years for Samsung laptops, the Galaxy Book Pro is definitely a pleasant surprise, and while the Galaxy Book 2 Pro’s long-winded, verbose moniker is a mouthful, just about everything else about this laptop is fantastic. The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro is a very light laptop that can be carried in one hand, making it an excellent on-the-go gadget. The spec sheet here is nothing to sniff at, with a 12th-generation Intel processor, an AMOLED display, and 5G capability.

There are probably more capable 15-inch laptops out there if portability isn’t a requirement for you, but if you need to carry your laptop around with you, the versatility, size, and performance of this laptop are hard to better. The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 will quickly become one of our best 2-in-1 laptops, but keep reading to see if it’s the ideal fit for you.

    PROS

    • Stunning portable design
    • Strong performance
    • Vivid and bright Super AMOLED display

    CONS

    • battery life needs improvement

    Verdict

Samsung has some fantastic smartphones, and now that we’ve seen the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro, we can certainly say the same about its laptops. The Galaxy Book 2 Pro is extremely light and easy to manage, packs a punch in terms of performance for everyday users, has a stunning display, and has all the ports you’ll need to get some work done. These are good specifications for a laptop that costs just over Rs. 1 lakh.

However, there are several instances where the Galaxy Book 2 Pro falls short of its rivals. Long-term usage of the keyboard is unpleasant, and battery life is only mediocre. Due to strict power management, Samsung could have provided an NVIDIA MX series GPU with the Core i7 model to allow decent editing and creative work.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro, on the other hand, delivers the best combination of a spectacular display, a very slim and light body, good performance, and the best port selection on an ultra-portable. The Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro is our top suggestion in this category.
