realme Pad 3 5G Review: Slim Design Meets Massive Battery

realme Pad 3 5G price is ₹29,999 for the 128GB variant. Its top model is priced at ₹31,999 and comes with 256GB of storage.

You can buy it in two colour option one is Champagne Gold, and the other is Space Grey, which I’m using. This tablet is available on Amazon and Flipkart.

Before we talk in detail about the realme Pad 3 5G, let’s see what the on-paper specs look like:

The realme Pad 3 5G feels like a sheet of metal, with a slim, smooth frame that is surprisingly sturdy in the hand. Its matte-finish back not only looks premium but also resists fingerprint stains, so the tablet stays clean even after long use. The gently rounded edges improve grip, making it comfortable to hold even with one hand.

At just 6.6mm thick, the tablet looks and feels sleek, and its design clearly takes inspiration from Apple’s iPad lineup. I felt inner joy while holding this tab while watching the T20 World Cup matches. It gives users a similar premium vibe without the premium price tag.

On the back, you’ll find a neat camera module placed at the top-right corner, along with subtle realme branding at the center. The quad stereo speaker setup is another highlight, delivering loud, rich, and immersive sound.

Around the edges, the tablet features a USB-C port at the bottom, dual microphones, a volume rocker, a SIM card slot (with a Wi-Fi-only variant available), and a power button on the top frame.

The realme Pad 3 5G has a basic camera setup. It has only an 8MP rear camera and a dummy camera sensor. I clicked a few images in bright conditions, but they didn’t look as good as those from phones under 10K.

But I also clicked a few images with its rear camera, and you can see a few samples. So, you can capture class notes with its dedicated text scanner mode. Moreover, you can only find four modes: Camera, Video, Pano, and Time Lapse.

When it comes to the front camera, it features an 8MP sensor, which allows for decent selfies. However, I noticed a significant amount of grain in simple images, even when captured under proper lighting conditions.

Both the rear and front cameras can record 1080p videos at 30fps. Overall, the realme Pad 3 5G review is decent and enough for normal usage.

The realme Pad 3 5G battery segment is the epicentre of this article. The brand added a huge 12,200 mAh battery capacity, offering long-lasting battery life on a single charge. It has great battery life for long use, lasting 16 to 20 hours for videos and 10 to 15 hours with the screen on.

I literally watched the whole T20 World Cup match for around four hours, which used only 27 percent of my battery life, which is insane for me.

It also charges quickly with 45W fast charging, taking about 100 to 150 minutes to fully charge. You can also use this phone as a power bank because it supports 6.5W wired reverse charging. So, its battery life is one of my favourite parts of the realme Pad 3 5G review.

The realme Pad 3 5G has a large 11.61-inch screen that shows pictures at a clear 2.8K resolution (2800 x 2000). At the start, I mentioned that it should have at least an AMOLED display, which I felt was a little bit missing in deep black in YouTube videos.

The screen’s shape is 7:5, which is good for working, reading, and browsing the web. However, when you watch 16:9 videos, black bars on the sides can be annoying, and a larger notch can spoil the experience.

The tablet supports 8K video quality on YouTube, and I watched some songs that were really amazing. Just to let you know, you will definitely miss HDR10+ with this tablet.

Also, it has a fast 120Hz refresh rate, which makes everything look smooth and colorful for the price.

The realme Pad 3 5G comes with the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Max (4 nm) chipset. This is a good, practical choice, not a “wow” move, but definitely not a bad one. It’s a balanced mid-range chipset that fits the tablet’s price and target users.

This has a Modern 4nm efficiency, which is built on a 4nm process, which improves power efficiency and thermal control. It is also ideal for long battery life and sustained tablet usage. One of the best things is that I did not encounter any heating issues during the realme Pad 3 5G review.

I played a few games of BGMI and Asphalt 9. As you know, this tablet isn’t ideal for gaming, so I primarily used it for testing; it’s not suitable for intensive gaming. However, it performs well with low-graphic games such as Clash of Clans, Ludo King, and Candy Crush Saga.

I also ran several Benchmark tests on the realme Pad 3 5G to assess its performance across different aspects. Its Geekbench scores are 993 in single-core and 3035 in multi-core. The maximum in the CPU throttling test is 90 per cent. Moreover, its Antutu score is 1009532. The 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability has an overall score of 99.7%.

The realme Pad 3 5G runs Android 16, based on Realme UI 7.0, with three years of Android OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches. I think this is good enough to make it a great option with this futuristic approach.

While Realme UI 7.0 has removed most bloatware, such as Hot app, Hot games, and unnecessary apps. It still has a few Google partner apps and some of Realme’s official apps, which you can disable from the settings.

Overall, the UI experience is smooth. App widgets are also amazing. I’m using A to Z UI, which also has a categories option where you can see apps organized by category, such as Entertainment, Photography, Tools, Social, Games, etc. Thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate, the tablet experience feels more fluid and fast.

The realme Pad 3 5G is designed to help you be more productive. It features special “Next AI” tools built into Realme UI 7.0 and is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max chip.

Some important features include AI that can summarize documents, transcribe recordings to capture the main points, and help improve your notes. The device also has a useful “Circle to Search” feature.
