We all have heard of “Wordle” the word puzzle sensation that has taken over the social media world by storm. Every time you open Facebook or Twitter you see someone posting about a set of grey yellow and green blocks.
Wordle is a game where players have to figure out a five-letter word in six or fewer guesses. After each guess, the game will show you grey blocks for wrong letters, yellow blocks for right letters in the wrong spot, and green blocks for right letters in the right space. Wordle is very addictive but once you solve the daily puzzle or use up all your guesses you have to wait till the next day to play the game again.
Wordle Like Games
So if you are already done with today’s Wordle, there are plenty of other word games similar to it that you can play to practice for Wordle. We have rounded up a few games that align with Wordle and you can play them online. Almost all the games mentioned in the list are free and your brain will find them challenging in a variety of ways.
1. Lewdle
Before you begin the game you’ll see an advisory that the game includes bad words and if you are offended by them you should leave it immediately. So in short Lewdle is the same as Wordle but with bad words. However, despite a long list of numerous bad words the game has it does not include slurs. Like Wordle, this game also provides you with six tries to guess the five-letter word, and users have the same yellow, grey, and green blocks as Wordle does. Also, it allows you to solve only one puzzle per day so you can switch between these two games. Here’s a link to the game.

2. Absurdle
The Absurdle game is not easy at all and is quite different from Wordle. It offers you unlimited guesses and has been called an ‘adversarial’ variant of Wordle. You won’t be able to get the answer right away but you can narrow it down slightly with each try and get closer to the right answer.
It uses the player’s guesses to narrow down its list of words and therefore the game goes as long as possible. You can guess as many times as you want and the best score you can get is for guesses. Here’s a link to the game.
3. Letter Quest Remastered
Letter Quest is a turn-based dungeon crawler that includes words as weapons. Here you play as a tiny Grim Reaper character whose name is Grimm and he vanishes monsters by creating words. By default, you get 15 random letters which you can use to make your attacks. It provides you with a lot of room to flex your vocabulary and defeat the monsters that get in your way. There’s also a shop in the game that opens up as you make some progress in the game
The shop includes a lot of different things like books, weapons, tilesets, and many more that will help you change the appearance of your character in the game. You also get some extra items in loot that make it easier for you to tackle some of the harder levels. Letter Quest Remastered is available on Steam and you can purchase it for Rs. 299. It is supported for all platforms including PC, Xbox, Playstation, and Switch. Here’s a link to the game.

4. Dordle
Dordle is similar to Wordle but instead of one board your get two boards side by side. You get six guesses to guess both the words using one Wordle-like keyboard. In terms of strategy, you get success by figuring out words on the one side and then figuring out the other side. But due to its limited amount of trials most players would exhaust all tries figuring out the first word only. The game is available in two versions, one is a daily version with only one puzzle a day and the other offers unlimited puzzles and is also available for free. Here’s a link to the game.
5. Alphabear 2
If you have toddlers who like cute bears and word games then this is the game for you. Even without toddlers, this game is a huge blast for adults too. In the game your aim is to feed the bears letters, the more you spell the bigger the bear gets. The bigger the bear gets more points you get. If the letter tiles are left unused for long they turn into a stone and you won’t be able to use them in the game. It is not much similar to the wordle game but surely it is fun. It is available for both iOS and Android app store for free.

6. Puzzlejuice
Puzzlejuice will surely remind you of the world-famous game Tetris. It mixes words with the falling block similar to Tetris but instead of making even lines you have to match the color of the blocks. Once your match the tiles they then turn into letters which you can then use to create words. Similar to Tetris the game hits a dead-end if you run out of room on the screen and no blocks can fall. It is a very interesting game and definitely worth checking out. The game is available for both iOS and Android devices.
