Poco F7 Design and Build
The Poco F7 boasts a beautiful design, and the in-hand feel is amazing. With a plastic body and a plastic back finish, this phone also manages to deliver an outstanding finish.
After a long time. I’m seeing the Poco phone’s corner finish, and its design is quite similar to that of the Apple iPhone 15 or Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
This phone has a dual-tone colour, like the one I’m using, white. So, its upper side sports a subtle matte texture, and the lower side has a glossy finish on the back. Similarly, it has black colour and a special edition called “Cyber Silver Edition” which has the Snapdragon logo on the back.
The Poco F7 has a similar camera design to the Apple iPhone 16, but features a dual-tilt green line reflection between both cameras. Just there, a three-LED flashlight is located under the back without any edges. Its right side of the phone has a volume button and a power button. Its bottom has a SIM tray, a microphone, a Type-C slot, and a sound strip. On top of the phone, there is a microphone, and an IR blaster is missing.
Its back does not take fingerprint stains, and feels a little bit slippery, but if you hold it carelessly. This phone has a body dimension of 163.1 x 77.9 x 8.2 mm and weighs 215.7 grams. It also has an IP68/IP69 dust-tight and water-resistant, making it immersible up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. Overall Poco F7 design review is excellent.

Poco F7 Camera
The Poco F7 features a 50MP (Wide) + 8MP (Ultrawide) rear camera setup, delivering eye-catching image results. I clicked images under various conditions and in different modes. There is nnothng much saturation in the image. You can see the flowers, and their colour looks very natural. Even, you can see the sky colour and the green tree looks exactly what it is.
Yes, I clicked on some of my pictures, and I observed no major skin colour changes. Even the portrait mode performs well. You can see the perfect edges and the blur in the background. However, the colour of my shirt has changed relatively, and you can see my exact shirt colour in the front camera sample.
But when clicking some images in low light, you can see clear grains in the images. During its camera review, I was also using the Vivo T4 Ultra and taking the same location at the same time.
I obtained Poco F7 images that are more realistic and natural than those of the Vivo T4 Ultra.
Let’s discuss the front camera, which features a 20MP wide-angle lens with a punch-hole design. While it takes decent selfies, it’s not perfect.
There isn’t a significant difference between portrait mode and normal mode, and the image quality is underwhelming. Additionally, images tend to become pixelated when zoomed in.
I recorded some videos with the Poco F7 rear and front cameras. Its audio detection is amazing even in noisy conditions. Here, I cannot include a video sample, but if you would like one, please comment below and I’ll add the drive links. You can record 4K videos at 30fps with rear and front cameras. Even, it offers a dual camera recording feature which helps in vlogging. Overall, the Poco F7 camera review is amazing.

Poco F7 Battery and Charging
Poco F7 offers a 6,500mAh battery capacity for international models, but I’m using the Indian model, which has a 7,550mAh battery capacity. This phone is expected to offer up to two days of battery life on a single charge. However, it does offer one and a half days of battery life, which is sufficient for watching downloaded movies or using it lightly. If you’re playing games like BGMI, your battery life tends to drop relatively quickly.
This phone comes with a 90W fast charger in the box, allowing for a 50 per cent charge in just 15 to 20 minutes. Hence, it can be charged 100 per cent in just 35 to 40 minutes.
There is no wireless charging support. But, it has 22.5W reverse charging support to charge your earbuds and smartwatches.

Poco F7 Display
Poco F7 has a 6.83-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 2772 pixels and 447 PPI density. Moreover, it has a 120Hz refresh rate, offering fast display scrolling. You can also set the refresh rate by choosing the custom mode in the settings, or you can select the app-based refresh rate.
For example, if an app is compatible with a 120Hz refresh rate, it will operate at that rate. However, if an app does not require 120Hz, the refresh rate will automatically adjust down to 60Hz or 90Hz as needed.
It also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+, making it ideal for watching high-quality videos on services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube.
This phone enhances your pictures by making colours brighter, improving the contrast between light and dark, and adding more vibrant colours. This way, the images are more vivid and detailed.
The Poco F7 features 800 nits (typical), 1800 nits (HBM), and 3200 nits (peak) brightness, enabling you to use it in direct sunlight. I also used it during hash light, and it was perfectly visible.
This phone also features a sunlight mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness according to the surrounding light. This phone has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.2 per cent. With a giant screen making it is more comfortable to watch web series and TV shows.
Poco F7 Performance
Poco F7 is powered by Qualcomm SM8735 Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4 nm) chipset, offering excellent performance. This phone also comes with two storage variants: 256GB storage + 12GB RAM and 512GB storage + 12GB RAM. One of the best is to have UFS 4.1 type storage, offering fast data processing and saving battery life.
I did several Benchmark tests on the Poco F7 to check its accurate performance in different aspects. Its Geekbench CPU scores are 1922 in single-core and 5471 in multi-core. The maximum in the CPU throttling test is 67 per cent. Moreover, its Antutu score is 1579272. The 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability has an overall score of 88.4 per cent.
In terms of gaming, this phone is a moderate option and not ideal for intensive gaming. During my gameplay session with BGMI and Asphalt, I experienced extreme heating. Additionally, while running the 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test, the phone reached a critical temperature and stopped functioning.
Poco needs to address the overheating issue in its phones. Overall, there is no lag or glitch issue with this phone. So, Poco F7 performance review is quite moderate.
Poco F7 Software and UI
Poco F7 comes with Android 15 based on Hyper OS 2.0. One of the best things is that it offers a four-year OS update and six years of security updates.
This phone comes with many bloatware apps, such as Tile Fun, Jewels Blast, Dust Settle, Bubble shot, Snapchat, WPS Office, etc, which can negatively impact your user experience.
You can uninstall or disable them, but otherwise, they can gradually slow down your phone.
Overall, its user interface is clean, and the pop-ups and slides are quite smooth. Hyper OS 2.0 features rounded app icons, which are visually pleasing as well.
It includes app categories for a better user experience, such as All, Communication, Entertainment, Photography, Tools, Shopping, etc. These features enable users to locate the right app in its corresponding category quickly.

I was using Poco F7 for review for the last ten days, and I can say this is a mind-blowing phone if I skip the heating issue. This phone has a giant display, making to perfect for students to do online classes or watch movies. This phone also has a Qualcomm SM8735 Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4 nm), offering daily performance.
The camera quality is generally good under different conditions, although the front camera could be improved. One of the main selling points of this phone is its impressive 7,550 mAh battery capacity, making it one of the largest in the Indian market. Additionally, it supports 90W fast charging. During the stress test, its temperature reached 53 degrees Celsius, which is concerning.
Overall, there are several phones in the market with the same price, such as the Vivo T4 Ultra, iQOO Neo 10, Motorola Edge 60 Pro, Xiaomi 14 Civi, Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, etc. You can compare the Poco F7 with these phones before buy. I hope you liked my Poco F7 review. Thanks for reading.
