The Sony Xperia XA2 is a good mid-range Android phone. Despite its very similar look to 2017’s Sony Xperia XA1, the phone sports an upgraded 1080p screen, and a packed 3300 mAh battery. It’s more affordable than the value giants of the industry but more expensive than budget classics like the Moto G6. However, specs-wise, it falls between the two categories and ultimately is much closer to the lower tier. With superb battery life, 4k video recording and a new take on a classic sony design, there’s a lot of innovative designing going on with Sony’s Xperia XA2.
The phone boasts sharper high-resolution screen, much better battery life, latest Android OS and 4k video recording.
The Sony Xperia XA2, silver, 32GB (3GB RAM) runs for Rs. 21,990. It comes with a 5.2 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixels at 424 PPI (pixels per inch). This flagship is powered by Qualcomm SDM630 Snapdragon 630 Octa-core processor and comes with 3GB RAM. It also has 32 gigs of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card. The phone runs the latest Android 8.1 and a 3300mAh non-removable battery. It measures 142 x 70 x 9.7 mm and weighs 171 gm. Further, it also houses a 23 MP primary camera on the rear and an 8 MP front shooter for selfies.
The phone comes with a great colour accurate display and a stunning design. The phone also has a great battery life which only adds more value.
The Sony Xperia XA2 comes with its shortcomings though, having neither a top of the class camera nor a high-grade CPU performance.
