Review Summary

After the blockbuster success of Vivo V40, Vivo launched Vivo T3 Pro, which majorly focused on battery and gaming performance at a lower price. This phone has a sleek and eye-catching design at first view. Basically, this device is similar to IQOO Z9s Pro 5G, which was also recently launched.

It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it has a 5,500mAh battery, but this phone is still light after a big size battery. You can also enjoy HDR videos on this phone. Vivo gives an 80W fast adapter, so charging fully will take little time.

But many of you think Vivo T3 Pro perform well? Does the battery give a long-lasting performance? Can we play long-time games without any problem? Does the camera deliver good photos? This type of question raises many of the buyers’ minds. So, I’ve been using Vivo T3 Pro for the last 15 days to give you the best review. Let’s end the wait and read my in-depth Vivo T3 Pro review.

Vivo T3 Pro Design and Build

Vivo T3 Pro is a IQOO Z9s Pro 5G clone, so its design and price are similar. Its body dimension is 163.7 x 75 x 7.5 or 8.0 mm, which is very thin. Its back and front have a curved design, which makes it very handy and gives it an eye-catching colour. This phone is lightweight at 184 grams, and even after using a protective case, you will not feel weighty.

Vivo T3 Pro Design

Vivo T3 Pro has two types of back: a matte back finish and a vegan leather finish, which I am reviewing. Its vegan leather finish in Sandstone Orange is eye-catching. Moreover, its back does take finger stains.

Apart from this, the phone’s top has a speaker, but there is no IP blaster, which should be. Its bottom side has a speaker strip, SIM tray, Type-C charging slot, and microphone slot.

Moreover, its right side has a volume and power button. You will see a large camera module on the back, which I personally do not like. However, it is worth mentioning that its camera design is not mounted on the back; it’s quite slim.

One of the important things to add is that the Vivo T3 Pro has only an IP64 rating, which is very low; it can have almost IP67 if IP68 is not possible. In a similar price range, OPPO Reno 12, OPPO F27 Pro Plus, and OPPO F27 Pro Plus offer an IP68 rating.

Vivo T3 Pro Camera

Vivo T3 Pro has a decent camera, not very good but not bad. It has 50 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) dual rear camera. This camera takes pretty good photos in daylight. Like defining the course of the sky, or capturing the colour of a green tree.

But if there is even a little light, the details in the photos are also good, but the colours become a little faded, so more work could have been done on the colours. The clarity would be a little less when I clicked in the evening light.

You can also see the night photos. Here, you will also see grains in the photos, but if you click the same with a flashlight, the photos will be a bit better.

I also took close shots with its camera, which did an excellent job. It maintained the edges quite well and also did not change the full colour even a bit. Otherwise, some phones saturate the photo due to doing too much.

Its front camera is also fine with 16MP. When I took a selfie, my skin was not very accurate, so I brightened it a bit. But the end result was stunning because it is about my face, right? Just kidding.

Apart from this, if we talk about videos, I found the stabilization to be good here. It takes good colours, etc., and you can shoot 4K videos.

Overall, my Vivo T3 Pro review camera is good. It takes good details, but yes, the colours could have been boosted a little more.

The selfie camera is also fine here; it can take sharp photos.

Vivo T3 Pro Battery and Charging

I did a Vivo T3 Pro battery review, and I got this powerhouse. Because I play a lot of games on this phone, and it gives me almost 7 to 8 hours of continuous gaming. Otherwise, you can use one and a half days on normal usage.

Vivo T3 Pro battery

Vivo T3 Pro has a 5,500 mAh battery capacity, making it one of the best phones in recent memory in terms of battery capacity. Moreover, it comes with an 80W charger, so it just takes one hour to charge fully.

Vivo T3 Pro 80W adapter

To give the exact timing of charging, when the phone was switched off after the battery drained, I plugged it in to charge at 9:40 PM, and then the phone was fully charged at 10:37 PM. So overall, Vivo T3 Pro battery performance is up to the mark.

Vivo T3 Pro Display

Vivo T3 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits of peak brightness. Its high refresh rate makes scrolling fast and smooth. You can also change it from the settings.

Vivo T3 Pro Display

I found its peak brightness amazing. It has a peak brightness of 4500 nits, which no one gives this peak brightness in this budget.

Vivo T3 Pro refresh rate

Although they did not clear the HBM brightness, the peak brightness is tremendous. There is no issue with using it in normal daylight.

Vivo T3 Pro display

You can watch HDR content in Vivo T3 Pro, and the colours of the display are quite good. Schott Xensation has been used to protect it. If there was Gorilla Glass FI here, it would have been better than Schott Xensation and more durable.

Vivo T3 Pro display

Vivo has eliminated the display problem from water drops or wet hands. The display of Vivo T3 Pro is water drop resistant and can be operated with wet hands. So, overall, the Vivo T3 Pro display review is excellent.

Vivo T3 Pro Performance

Vivo T3 Pro’s performance is excellent, especially for gaming in this price range. It has a Qualcomm SM7550-AB Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (4 nm) chipset for fast processing. Moreover, it has several storage variants, but I’m using the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant for review. It comes with UFS 2.2 type storage, which is not exciting at this price because several phones offer UFS 3.1 and some UFS 4.0, too.

Vivo T3 Pro performance

I did several Benchmark tests on the Vivo T3 Pro to check its accurate performance in different aspects. Its Geekbench scores are 1125 in single-core and 2949 in multi-core. The maximum in the CPU throttling test is 83 per cent. Moreover, its Antutu score is 538111. In the 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability, its overall score is 99.4 per cent.

Vivo T3 Pro benchmark result

This is considerable; this phone did heat up in different benchmark tests but not too much, whereas most phones heat up a lot during these tests. So this is a perfect thing about this phone.

Vivo T3 Pro gaming performance

Its gaming ability is outstanding. I played many games continuously, such as BGMI, COC, and Asphalt 9. It gave excellent results and did not heat up a bit during gameplay. You can play BGMI in Full HD quality. Moreover, it has a high sound setting called audio booster mode.

Vivo T3 Pro performance

In this setting, its volume can be increased by 300 per cent. So, during BGMI gameplay, it helps me hear enemy sounds.

Vivo T3 Pro Software and UI

Vivo T3 Pro comes with Android 14, based on Funtouch 14, which comes with a two-year major and three-year security update.

Vivo T3 Pro OS

Its UI is good; you will get several in-display features like side baar, app listing with alphabet order, and side slide for apps.

Vivo T3 Pro system update

Moreover, you can set buttons and navigation for phone usage. There are several bloatware apps like hot games, hot apps, instant games, tile master, etc.

Vivo T3 Pro appsVivo T3 Pro UI

This can slow your phone, but you can uninstall these apps accordingly.

Vivo T3 Pro UIVivo T3 Pro system

You will get an AI eraser in this phone, which is used to erase unnecessary objects from the image.

Verdict

Vivo T3 Pro is a gaming and battery powerhouse phone in the mid-range price range. Its battery performs very well on normal use, even delivering seven to eight hours of battery life during gameplay. Its 80W fast charging makes it more extraordinary compared to others.

While its camera is impressive in daylight, it does not perform well in slightly dull lighting. Overall, its performance is good. Moreover, during long gaming sessions, the device does not heat up. Its display supports HDR content and has a 120Hz refresh rate, so the display segment is okay.

However, its downside is that it has UFS 2.2-type storage, which is very low. This type of storage comes in devices with a price range of 10K to 15 K. Regardless, it has only an IP64 rating, which is the worst. It can have at least an IP67 rating. You will see a lot of bloatware apps which can cause or slow your device.

Several devices come in this price range, such as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro 5G, POCO F6, Realme 13 Pro Plus, OPPO F27 Pro Plus, and POCO X6 Pro. So, you can compare this phone’s features with the Vivo T3 Pro, making the perfect decision for buying. I hope you will like my in-depth Vivo T3 Pro review.
