Combining all the leaks and renders, here’s a roundup of everything we know so far about the upcoming Google Pixel 5.
Apparently, Google Pixel 5 will get an updated design. It is known that even the Pixel team weren’t big fans of Pixel 4’s design so Pixel 5 is going to be a lot different. The phone will get a redesigned camera set up to go with it.
When it comes to processors, Pixel devices have always often been for a powerful processor and in 2020, it’s the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 paired along with Google Android 11 which is currently in the beta stage of development. On the other hand, rumor has it that Pixel 5 lineup could opt for a mid-range processor i.e. either Snapdragon 765 or 765G or 768G but we will have to wait to hear more about it. The change in a processor could be a way for Google to bring down the price tag since Snapdragon 865 is undoubtedly more expensive than Snapdragon 765G. According to a report, Google Pixel 5 price could start at $699 at $50 higher than the original Pixel that was launched in 2016.

Other specifications included a much-needed 6GB of RAM at the least while the Pixel phones will have at least 64GB as the base model. There will be a 128GB variant as well. It will be paired with a dual-lens rear camera sensor at the least or it could arrive with a triple camera setup as we have already seen in the previous leaks. It will also get wireless charging along with IP68 certification.
