In the realm of audio equipment, Boult is well-known in India as a brand that offers a wide variety of options. The company has now launched a smartwatch, marking its first entry into the growing wearables industry. The Boult Drift watch aims to compete with other wearables in its price range and comes with unique features.
If you are thinking to start your fitness journey and looking for a fitness watch on a budget, this might be the perfect fit for you. The Boult Drift watch seems like an amazing deal on paper and comes at a very aggressive price tag of under 2000.
Let’s go ahead and see the top 5 reasons why the Boult Drift smartwatch is a total bang for the buck.
1. Calling Support
I have used many smartwatches in budget but none of them came with a fully functional calling feature. However, this is not the case with the Boult Drift smartwatch. This smartwatch comes with a dedicated mic and speaker; so that you can not only reject phone calls but also pick them up and talk on the go.
The only thing you have to keep in mind is that the watch should be connected with the smartphone using Bluetooth. The call quality is just okay-ish, as you would expect from a budget device.

2. Great UI
The next thing I really liked about the Boult Drift was its super interactive user interface. The overall UI was simple and easy to navigate. You also get to see three in-built games which are very fun to play; my personal favourite was the 2048 game.
On top of this, you will find multiple customization options. The Boult Drift features 140+ Watch Faces which you can easily choose from the BoultFit app. Now the best part is that you can personalise every tiny thing on the dialer, ranging from the photo to time positioning and its colour.
Another exciting feature of the phone was the AI voice assistant which is not built-in but triggers the assistant on your phone using the dedicated mic.

3. Design and Build
The Boult Drift watch comes with a very aesthetic and minimal design which is not flashy like other watches in the market. The silicone straps are comfortable on the hands and have a smooth texture. It didn’t irritate my skin even after wearing it for the whole day.
The 45-gram watch feels light on hand and looks quite stylish. Additionally, you get an IP68 rating which makes the watch waterproof up to 1.5 meters. The 1.69-inch HD display looks good and has a peak brightness of 500 nits which is solid for a smartwatch. I didn’t face any issues while using it outdoors and the text notifications were clearly visible.
The bezels are not so thin, especially the bottom one which might be a little annoying for some users. But overall, the watch has an amazing design and build quality considering the price.

4. Health and Fitness Features
The Boult Drift comes equipped with every Health tracking feature you can think of. It comes with a Heart Rate sensor which is pretty common with smartwatches these days. You can also monitor your blood oxygen levels by using the SpO2 sensor and even your blood pressure.
All of these sensors are located on the backside of the watch. The readings are close to accurate, however, I won’t recommend you to fully depend on these readings as they can’t replace a medical device.
Now coming to fitness and sports, the Boult Drift comes with 60+ workout modes which are more than enough for users like me. You can track almost all your fitness activities and see the detailed info on the app. Boult has also included a Menstrual Cycle feature for female users.

5. Solid Battery with Fast Charging
I don’t remember the last time a smartwatch came with fast charging feature. Yes, you got it right. Boult Drift comes with fast charging support that can give you a battery life of 2 days on just 10mins of charging. Amazing, isn’t it?
The watch comes with a magnetic charging cable which takes around an hour to fully charge the battery. The company claims that the watch can last 10 days of usage with a full charge which I think is pretty solid.
I am usually very upset regarding the battery life of smartwatches but Boult has solved that issue for me here.
