    Vivo V60e Design and Build

I’m fortunate to have used all the phones in the Vivo V40 series,  Vivo V50 series,  Vivo V60, including the Vivo V60e. This has allowed me to observe closely how Vivo has improved the series with each release.

    Vivo V60e back

The Vivo V60e features a design similar to the Vivo V60 and Vivo T4 Pro, except it lacks a telephoto sensor. This phone has a plastic frame and back as well, but the finishing is top-notch. It also attracts fingerprint stains, but is not easily visible from a short distance.

    camera design

Vivo added a quad-curved design, which gives it a premium look. Its edges are smooth and perfectly grabable in a single hand. This phone has a slightly large body, measuring 163.5 x 77 x 7.5 mm and weighing 190 grams.

    top

But the brand has done an excellent job of keeping the phone’s weight under 200 grams.

    Vivo V60e side image

This phone also has an IP68/IP69 rating for dust-tight and water-resistant. So, it can withstand high-pressure water jets up to 1.5 meters for two hours. It also has a Diamond Shield Glass on the front to protect from accidental drops as well.

    Vivo V60e Bottom

Moving on to ports, Vivo added an IR blaster, a microphone and a secondary speaker at the top of the phone. There is nothing on the left side, while a power button and a volume button at the right side. At the bottom, you can find a SIM tray, a speaker strip, a microphone, and a Type-C charging port.

    Vivo V60e Camera

Vivo V60e comes with a dual-camera setup with a 200 MP primary sensor (Samsung HP9) with OIS + an 8 MP ultrawide lens.

    camera design

It offers excellent daylight photos with detail, sharpness, and vibrant colours. During the Vivo V60e review, I clicked a lot of images indoors and outdoors as well.

    Vivo V60e camera sample

In good lighting like daylight or well-lit conditions, the 200 MP primary sensor captures very detailed, sharp and vibrant images. You can see textures on leaves, architectural details or delicate patterns. It holds up well even if you crop or zoom in.

    Vivo V60e camera sample

Colour saturation is on the punchier side, which tends to make images more vibrant and “social-media ready” straight out of the camera, often a plus if you post directly without editing. But if you for someone who likes only reality without saturation, then it will not be good for this.

    Vivo V60e camera sample

Its primary camera gives much higher-resolution images than standard pixel-binned photos. This extra detail can be helpful when you want to crop or zoom later, for example, capturing distant subjects or fine detail in landscape/architecture shots. You can see my image as well, which I clicked 1x, then I cropped it for 2x.

    camera sample

The 8 MP ultrawide lens does widen the frame for group shots or landscapes. But detail, sharpness, and dynamic range are noticeably weaker than the primary lens.

    camera sample

It’s adequate for casual use, but not ideal if you care about ultrawide image quality. I find that if you zoom up 3x, it will be fine, but at 30x, I can say it’s just a marketing stunt, nothing else.

    camera sample

Talking about portrait mode, due to aggressive colour tuning and processing, portrait shots often have increased brightness and saturation. Skin tones can appear “washed out” or less true-to-life, and bokeh and edge detection may be inconsistent, especially around complex backgrounds.

    Vivo V60e camera sample

For social media, results can sometimes look nearly perfect, but at other times, I find the images over-saturated, and my skin colour shifts.

    camera sample

The 50 MP selfie camera with Eye-AF is surprisingly pleasing, producing crisp, clear selfies. Autofocus works reliably, and group selfies don’t end up fuzzy or poorly focused.

Lastly, you can record 4K videos at 30fps with both cameras. I recorded a few videos during the Vivo V60e review, and the audio is captured perfectly, even in a crowded place. If you need them, just drop a comment or reach out to me, and I will share the drive link.

    Vivo V60e Battery and Charging

The Vivo V60e features a 6,500mAh battery, providing long-lasting power. It can last up to a full day with heavy use or potentially two days with moderate usage.

    Vivo V60e battery life

I usually played games, watched movies, and scrolled social media, which gave me around 12-13 hours of battery life. During the Vivo V60e review, I even watched the India vs South Africa 3rd ODI non-stop, both innings, after a full charge. It was surprising that 25 per cent of the battery remained.

    90W charger

I got a 90W fast charger in the box, which charges the phone fully in just 55 minutes. Additionally, it takes only 25 minutes to reach 50 per cent charge. I appreciated that the brand included a charger, unlike some brands like Samsung, Apple, and Nothing, which do not include a charger in the box.

    Vivo V60e Display

The Vivo V60e offers a large display with a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen. It features a resolution of 1080 x 2392 pixels and a density of 388 PPI. You can enjoy a great viewing experience with a bigger display, and HDR10+ support provides an extra edge for movie enthusiasts.

    Video quality

So, it supports HDR qualities for videos on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube, creating an amazing viewing experience.

    display

Vivo also added a Visual Enhancements feature in display settings, which helps enhance colour and contrast for a more vivid display on YouTube, Netflix, and other OTT platforms. But note that this feature will drain the battery more quickly than usual.

    Vivo V60e display

This phone also has a 1600 nits (HBM) and 5000 nits (peak) brightness for perfect visibility in harsh light conditions. During the Vivo V60e review, I used the phone’s open lights at 1 PM to check its viewing ability, and it worked fine. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate for fast display scrolling, but you can change it from the settings to smart switch or standard 60Hz refresh rate.

    Vivo V60e Performance

Vivo V6 is a solid mid-range chipset & smooth everyday experience. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo and has up to 12 GB of RAM. But it has up to 256GB, UFS 2.2 type storage, which is not justifiable in this price range. It delivers smooth day-to-day performance for tasks like social media, browsing, streaming, calls, and multitasking without noticeable lag.

    RAM and Storage

Apps open quickly, switching between apps feels smooth, and general use, like messaging, web browsing, and navigating the OS, feels fluid and reliable.

I would not call this is gaming phone because I played a lot of BGMI and Aaphalt 9, during the Vivo V60e review. But it offers decent gaming and media performance for casual and moderate use. It provides stable frame rates, manageable thermals, and smooth visuals on its 120Hz AMOLED screen.

    Vivo V60e gaming

It’s worth adding that it’s a large 6500 mAh battery and an efficient chipset, plus software optimisation. The V60e offers excellent performance, ideal for prolonged browsing, video streaming, social media use, and daily tasks without frequent charging.

For typical daily smartphone use, social media, photography, streaming, light-to-moderate gaming, and multitasking, V60e delivers a very reliable, smooth, and consistent performance. It’s well-rounded for an upper-mid-range device, especially under ₹30–35k.

As I already told you, the Vivo V60e is not for power-users, heavy-gaming and a flagship-class performer. While decent for casual games, its chipset isn’t built for “hardcore” gaming or heavy productivity like intensive video editing, 3D rendering, or heavy multitasking with demanding apps. It lags behind flagship-class chipsets in overall raw performance.

    Vivo V60e Benchmarks

You can see benchmark scores, which are good, but not top-tier like flagships. I ran several Benchmark tests on the Vivo V60e to assess its performance across different aspects. Its Geekbench CPU scores are 1026 in single-core and 2805 in multi-core. The maximum in the CPU throttling test is 94 per cent. Moreover, its Antutu score is 905445. The 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability has an overall score of 99.4 per cent.

    Vivo V60e Software and UI

Talking about the Vivo V60e UI, which is less exciting, it still runs on Android 15 based on Funtouch OS 15.

Vivo V60e Funtouch OS15Android 15It comes with a lot of preloaded bloatware like Snapchat, Block Blast, Sheets, Slide, etc. At first glance, it might seem productive for some, but not for most.

    UI

If someone leaves these apps installed, they can slow down your phone over time, especially after multiple updates. Therefore, it’s better to remove all items related to your daily use.

    UI

Moreover, Vivo promised three years of OS updates, which is suitable for long-term use. There are not many customisation features to change things except few like fingerprint UI, facelock, home lock styles, and other aspects.

    Vivo V60e UI

However, you might experience a better UI with Origins OS 6, which is still limited to high-end Vivo phones and will be available on all upcoming devices.

    Dynamic Effect

The Vivo V60e has many helpful AI-powered features. It comes with special camera tools like the AI Portrait Suite, AI Festival Portrait, AI Four-Season Portrait, and AI Erase 3.0 to help you take amazing pictures. The phone also has a Gemini Assistant to help with different tasks.

For communication and getting things done, it includes tools like the Smart Call Assistant, which can listen to your calls and translate what is being said in different languages. There’s also an AI Smart Summary feature that takes important points from conversations and notes. Finally, the Note Assist feature helps you while using the Notes app.

    Verdict

The Vivo V60e is a strong mid-range phone that delivers where most users care the most, camera quality, battery life, and design. Its 200MP main camera, great selfies, bright AMOLED display, and excellent 6,500mAh battery make it a reliable everyday device. The quad-curved design and IP68/IP69 rating also add a premium touch you don’t often see in this segment.

However, it’s not meant for power users. The UFS 2.2 storage, average ultrawide camera, and limited gaming performance hold it back from feeling truly top-tier. Still, if your priority is social media photography, long battery life, and a premium-looking phone, the Vivo V60e stands out as a smart choice under ₹30–35K. I hope you liked my Vivo V60e review, if you have question just drop a comment or reach out to me directly.
