Vivo’s V-series has always been about camera excellence. After a month of testing, the Vivo V60e proves it’s still one of the best in the mid-range game. It comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo (4 nm) chipset for smooth performance.

    Vivo V60e Design and Build

I’m fortunate to have used all the phones in the Vivo V40 series,  Vivo V50 series,  Vivo V60, including the Vivo V60e. This has allowed me to observe closely how Vivo has improved the series with each release.

    Vivo V60e back

The Vivo V60e features a design similar to the Vivo V60 and Vivo T4 Pro, except it lacks a telephoto sensor. This phone has a plastic frame and back as well, but the finishing is top-notch. It also attracts fingerprint stains, but is not easily visible from a short distance.

    camera design

Vivo added a quad-curved design, which gives it a premium look. Its edges are smooth and perfectly grabable in a single hand. This phone has a slightly large body, measuring 163.5 x 77 x 7.5 mm and weighing 190 grams.

But the brand has done an excellent job of keeping the phone’s weight under 200 grams.

    Vivo V60e side image

This phone also has an IP68/IP69 rating for dust-tight and water-resistant. So, it can withstand high-pressure water jets up to 1.5 meters for two hours. It also has a Diamond Shield Glass on the front to protect from accidental drops as well.

    Vivo V60e Bottom

Moving on to ports, Vivo added an IR blaster, a microphone and a secondary speaker at the top of the phone. There is nothing on the left side, while a power button and a volume button at the right side. At the bottom, you can find a SIM tray, a speaker strip, a microphone, and a Type-C charging port.

    Vivo V60e Camera

Vivo V60e comes with a dual-camera setup with a 200 MP primary sensor (Samsung HP9) with OIS + an 8 MP ultrawide lens.

    camera design

It offers excellent daylight photos with detail, sharpness, and vibrant colours. During the Vivo V60e review, I clicked a lot of images indoors and outdoors as well.

    Vivo V60e camera sample

In good lighting like daylight or well-lit conditions, the 200 MP primary sensor captures very detailed, sharp and vibrant images. You can see textures on leaves, architectural details or delicate patterns. It holds up well even if you crop or zoom in.

Colour saturation is on the punchier side, which tends to make images more vibrant and “social-media ready” straight out of the camera, often a plus if you post directly without editing. But if you for someone who likes only reality without saturation, then it will not be good for this.

    Vivo V60e camera sample

Its primary camera gives much higher-resolution images than standard pixel-binned photos. This extra detail can be helpful when you want to crop or zoom later, for example, capturing distant subjects or fine detail in landscape/architecture shots. You can see my image as well, which I clicked 1x, then I cropped it for 2x.

    camera sample

The 8 MP ultrawide lens does widen the frame for group shots or landscapes. But detail, sharpness, and dynamic range are noticeably weaker than the primary lens.

    camera sample

It’s adequate for casual use, but not ideal if you care about ultrawide image quality. I find that if you zoom up 3x, it will be fine, but at 30x, I can say it’s just a marketing stunt, nothing else.

    camera sample

Talking about portrait mode, due to aggressive colour tuning and processing, portrait shots often have increased brightness and saturation. Skin tones can appear “washed out” or less true-to-life, and bokeh and edge detection may be inconsistent, especially around complex backgrounds.

For social media, results can sometimes look nearly perfect, but at other times, I find the images over-saturated, and my skin colour shifts.

The 50 MP selfie camera with Eye-AF is surprisingly pleasing, producing crisp, clear selfies. Autofocus works reliably, and group selfies don’t end up fuzzy or poorly focused.

Lastly, you can record 4K videos at 30fps with both cameras. I recorded a few videos during the Vivo V60e review, and the audio is captured perfectly, even in a crowded place. If you need them, just drop a comment or reach out to me, and I will share the drive link.

    Vivo V60e Battery and Charging

The Vivo V60e features a 6,500mAh battery, providing long-lasting power. It can last up to a full day with heavy use or potentially two days with moderate usage.

    Vivo V60e battery life

I usually played games, watched movies, and scrolled social media, which gave me around 12-13 hours of battery life. During the Vivo V60e review, I even watched the India vs South Africa 3rd ODI non-stop, both innings, after a full charge. It was surprising that 25 per cent of the battery remained.

    90W charger

I got a 90W fast charger in the box, which charges the phone fully in just 55 minutes. Additionally, it takes only 25 minutes to reach 50 per cent charge. I appreciated that the brand included a charger, unlike some brands like Samsung, Apple, and Nothing, which do not include a charger in the box.

    Verdict

The Vivo V60e is a strong mid-range phone that delivers where most users care the most, camera quality, battery life, and design. Its 200MP main camera, great selfies, bright AMOLED display, and excellent 6,500mAh battery make it a reliable everyday device. The quad-curved design and IP68/IP69 rating also add a premium touch you don’t often see in this segment.

However, it’s not meant for power users. The UFS 2.2 storage, average ultrawide camera, and limited gaming performance hold it back from feeling truly top-tier. Still, if your priority is social media photography, long battery life, and a premium-looking phone, the Vivo V60e stands out as a smart choice under ₹30–35K. I hope you liked my Vivo V60e review, if you have question just drop a comment or reach out to me directly.
