Vivo Apex 2020

Vivo APEX 2020 is currently a concept phone with technologies unmatched by even flagship smartphones. It manages to squeeze it the world’s first under-the-display camera along with 60W fast wireless charging backed with a powerful Snapdragon 865 SoC, 12GB RAM, and 256GB of storage to name a few.

Vivo APEX 2020 Price in India

Vivo APEX 2020 isn’t available everywhere and it is expected to fetch Rs 64,990/- and will probably launch in India on June 18 (speculated). The price tag on the phone is way less for a lot of the tech it offers on-board.

Vivo APEX 2020 concept does make its point very clear, it is one of the best-designed smartphones with a truly immersive curved display. At the front, you won’t see anything except its giant display and no bezels on the left and right sides. Both the top bezel and chin have been reduced immensely to give the phone a truly edge-to-edge full-screen experience. There’s a front camera hidden underneath the display that becomes transparent when shooting photos or videos with it.

At the back, the phone does give you a look into the future with a brilliant reflective gradient-packed back panel and a truly impressive rear camera setup arranged in a circular camera bump. There are no physical buttons to the sides and instead, it uses a pressure-sensitive set of keys to the sides.

The display mounted on Vivo APEX 2020 concept is a brilliant 6.45-inch IPS LCD curved panel. In fact, the sides are curved at an angle of 120° which is way beyond the comprehension of a waterfall display you have seen on Huawei Mate 30 Pro that sports a 88° curvature. The phone offers a resolution of 1080×2330 pixels with 398 PPI that gives it an impressive depth and vibrancy unmatched by any other except AMOLED panels for your information.

No doubt the APEX 2020 concept has some of the insane techs when compared to any phone you might see this year. The same applies to the hardware configuration as it picks up the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC clocked at a whopping 2.84GHz. It is paired with Adreno 650 CPU along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage that gives it much-needed adrenaline to process anything and everything you can throw at it with ease.

Vivo managed to squeeze in a powerful 16MP camera at the front under-the-display that uses circuitry to make the particular section of the display transparent for interference-free photography. At the back, Vivo APEX 2020 sports a dual-camera setup including a 48MP primary and 16MP telephoto sensor with 7.5x optical zoom ensuring the superb quality of photos and videos unmatched by its predecessors.

The phone sports a large 5,000 mAh battery that should give more than a day of charge even on heavy usage. Moreover, the phone is packed with an ultra-fast 60W Wireless SuperCharge Technology that takes only 20 minutes to charge 2,000mAh of the battery so it roughly takes 50 minutes to juice up the battery to its limits. It uses a dual-channel charging solution that peaks it up to 60W while the underlying system prevents the temperature from soaring when charging.

You don’t have to think twice if you are looking to buy Vivo APEX 2020 concept. The phone is a true miracle of Vivo’s R&D team with insane hardware and software calibration that makes it a must-have ultra flagship smartphone. It is powered by SDM865, an under-the-display front camera, and fingerprint scanner, pressure-sensitive buttons on the sides, insanely curved display and that’s just a few things Vivo managed to infuse in APEX 2020. However, note that the phone isn’t available everywhere so you would be lucky if you get your hands on it for sure.
