Vivo finally confirms the launch date for its upcoming flagship, Vivo X60 5G after several leaks. This series will be launched on December 29, as announced by the company. The lineup will include of two smartphones- X60 5G and X60 Pro 5G. Moreover, the company shared a poster of the upcoming smartphone series on Weibo.

In this poster, one can see the rear panels of the phones. The official teaser confirms a few key Vivo X60 5G series specifications as well. Additionally, the smartphones in the series will also have Night Vision 2.0 camera mode, as mentioned in the poster.
The teaser image shows that the Vivo X60 5G series will be available in grey, white, and gradient color options. It also shows off some design details of the regular variant. There are reports suggesting it will be the slimmest 5G phones from the company yet. On the other hand, the poster suggests that X60 Pro 5G will sport a quad rear camera setup. Whereas, Vivo X60 5G will have a triple rear camera setup.

However, the third phone in the series can be Vivo X60s 5G. As a phone with the same name was in a Bluetooth SIG listing back in July.
Vivo shared a poster on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, teasing the upcoming Vivo X60 series. The phone will feature an ultra-stable micro-head camera sensor. Vivo also said that the camera setup was jointly developed with German optical company Zeiss.

The series will power on the octa-core Exynos 1080 SoC by Samsung. The 5nm EUV process-based chip with 5G support recently unveiled by the South Korean tech giant. It has a 4+3+1 core configuration and comes with support for high refresh rate displays. It can support up to a 200-megapixel camera sensor. The Vivo X60 5G series will run OriginOS out-of-the-box, that is Vivo’s new skin on top of Android OS.
Additionally, it can also launch with a 120Hz AMOLED display and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X60 5G measures at just 7.3mm in slimness, making it the world’s thinnest 5G smartphone.
