The Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G which is arriving on February 11, has gone through Geekbench confirming key specs.
The Galaxy S20+ 5G was spotted on the benchmark database with Android 10 which would have the One UI 2.0 skin on top. It will also have 12GB RAM.
The motherboard is listed as “Kona”, which suggests that the smartphone has the Snapdragon 865 SoC under the hood. Hence rumours have it that the S20 lineup is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 990. More regions are expected to get the Snapdragon variant.
The Galaxy S20+ 5G scored 923 and 3267 points in Geekbench 5’s single and multi-core tests. But this being a pre-production unit, there is no point in reading much into these.
The non-5G variant of the Galaxy S20+ will sport a 6.7″ Dynamic AMOLED display. It will also feature a quad-camera setup comprising one 64MP, two 12MP, and a ToF unit. And for selfies and video calls, there would be a 10MP camera on the front.
The vanilla S20 will skip the ToF module and would be available with a 6.2″ screen, 10MP selfie snapper, and a 4,000mAh battery.
The S20 Ultra, on the opposite hand, will boast a 108MP primary sensor with 100x Space Zoom, which can be joined by a 48MP telephoto (10x optical), 12MP ultrawide and ToF modules.
The S20 Ultra’s 5G variant will have 12GB and 16GB RAM. You’ll get three storage options – 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. It’ll also have a microSD card slot, allowing storage expansion up to 1TB.
The smartphone will pack a 5,000mAh battery which can jazz up from flat to 100% in 74 minutes, because of 45W fast charging.
