Tecno Spark Go 5G Price in India and Variants
Tecno Spark Go 5G price is Rs 9,999 in India. This price is for 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. It is available in Ink Black, Sky Blue, which I’m using for review, Turquoise Green, and heritage-inspired Bikaner Red colour options.
At this price point, the Tecno Spark Go 5G review shows that the brand is targeting first-time 5G buyers.

Tecno Spark Go 5G Design and Build
In the smartphone industry, design inspiration often comes dangerously close to imitation. The Spark Go 5G’s styling clearly borrows from Apple’s alleged iPhone Air leaks.
While Tecno might argue that it launched earlier, the fact remains that the brand appears more focused on replicating premium aesthetics rather than establishing its own design identity.
Copying a design is one thing, but failing to match it with strong performance, reliable battery life, and a refined user experience only highlights the gap. I would say that imitation without innovation is a shortcut that rarely pays off. From my Tecno Spark Go 5G review experience, the phone feels more about looks than durability.
Moving on to its build and other aspects, there is no doubt that its build quality is fundamental and cheap. Its back and overall frame are made of plastic and are not as durable as they should be.
I used this continuously for the last three weeks as my first phone in its protective cover, but by the end of the day, I noticed some colour shades at the top of the back camera.
Talking about its ports, I was surprised to see the first phone that has a volume strip at the top of the device.
Its right side features a volume button and a power button, while the SIM tray is located on the left. A 3.5mm jack, microphone, and Type-C charging port are positioned at the bottom.
This phone has overall dimensions of 167.7 x 77.7 x 8 mm and weighs 197 grams. It also has an IP64 rating for water and dust resistance. Overall, the Tecno Spark Go 5G’s design review is average but suitable for daily use.
Tecno Spark Go 5G Camera
One of the standout highlights in my Tecno Spark Go 5G review is its surprisingly good camera performance. It was genuinely surprised by its camera, considering the price.
Mentioning at the start that you will see more shaky live camera footage before clicking that shows a lack of OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation).
This technology utilises a system comprising hardware with gyroscopes and tiny motors. These parts help move the camera lens or sensor to fix small hand movements.
This makes photos clearer and videos smoother, especially when it’s dark or when you’re moving. It’s a mechanical way to reduce blur, giving better picture quality than digital stabilisation most of the time.
Moving on to image results, I mostly used this camera with bright light, and the images were excellent. You can see flower images with colours that are accurately picked. Moreover, you can see my images too; overall, the photos are pretty sharp with accurate skin tones.
Sky colours are also captured perfectly. I’m not complaining, but you will not get much depth in its camera results, which is also quite reasonable considering its price.
Its portrait mode also looks promising; you can see the edges of the flowers and my image, which tries to be captured more accurately.
I’m not interested in providing a detailed opinion, but it is suitable for everyday use and meets user expectations within this price range.
Its front camera results are average but satisfactory for everyday use. You can see my image samples, and they are excellent for video calls, online meetings, and other tasks. Moreover, you can record basic videos too.
Tecno Spark Go 5G Battery and Charging
The Tecno Spark Go 5G offers nearly 13 hours of battery life on a single charge, although I also played games during this time. So, if you use it lightly, it can last over 15 hours on a single charge. However, if you play online games, this can reduce to nine or ten hours.
I think this is enough for a low-end phone. Tecno offers a 6000mAh battery capacity with this device. Moreover, it comes with an 18W regular charger, which takes quite a lot of time.
The phone takes nearly two hours to charge fully, and this lengthy charging time is a significant drawback that should be improved. Based on my Tecno Spark Go 5G review, the battery performance is one of its strongest points, though charging speed is a letdown.
Tecno Spark Go 5G Display
The Tecno Spark Go 5G offers a large 6.74-inch IPS LCD display. Its screen is a good choice for those who want a phone for more YouTube or other streaming platform usage. You might miss an AMOLED, but at this lower price, it’s a fair trade-off.
I watched many YouTube videos; this phone does not support 4K or HDR, but it is worthwhile for online classes where high detail and accuracy are not needed. If you want a great viewing experience, consider other models. One of its best features is the 120Hz refresh rate, which can be switched to 60Hz or set to adaptive mode from the settings.
It offers 670 to 700 nits of peak brightness, and I used it in harsh conditions. The experience was not particularly exciting, but it is satisfactory for everyday use overall. This phone has an 84.2% screen-to-body ratio and offers a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels with a 20:9 ratio and 260 ppi density.
Tecno Spark Go 5G Performance
The Tecno Spark Go 5G is a normal phone which is not performance-centric. It comes with a Mediatek Dimensity 6400 (6 nm) chipset offering standard performance during regular use. I tried to play BGMI on this phone, but it felt like I was trying to carry 100 kg because it sometimes froze, especially during hot drops and in the end zone under heavy pressure.
This phone comes with 128GB storage and 4GB RAM, with expandable storage of up to 1 TB. I usually engage in WhatsApp chats, scroll through social media, watch YouTube, and so on, and this phone has nailed it.
I conducted several Benchmark tests on the Tecno Spark Go 5G to evaluate its accurate performance in various aspects. Its Geekbench CPU scores are 631 in single-core and 1916 in multi-core. The maximum in the CPU throttling test is 84%. Moreover, its Antutu score is 521699. The 3DMark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability has an overall score of 97.9%.
During my Tecno Spark Go 5G review period, I noticed smooth performance for daily tasks but not for gaming.
Tecno Spark Go 5G Software and UI
The Tecno Spark Go 5G comes with Android 15 based on HIOS 15. One of the exciting things you will see is that its UI is similar to iOS 26, especially in sections like data, aeroplane mode, and other features. Tecno offers clean widgets and smooth animations, making it easier for users. You can customise the app location and other things from the custom UI.
HiOS 15 features smart enhancements that improve the overall user experience. It includes a feature called the Ella AI assistant, which assists with tasks such as real-time language translation and noise reduction during calls.
The phone also has a 50MP camera that uses AI to take great pictures. It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor that has many smart improvements to make everything work smoothly. Ella AI helps users communicate and use the phone more easily.
After three weeks of use, my Tecno Spark Go 5G Review highlights that this smartphone is a solid choice for first-time 5G buyers and budget-conscious users. The device shines with its large 120Hz display, reliable battery life, and surprisingly good rear camera performance for the price. However, its average build quality, slow charging, and limited gaming capabilities make it less appealing for heavy users.
If you want a budget 5G phone primarily for social media, calls, YouTube, and casual usage, this is a good option. But if you need stronger performance or a more premium build, alternatives like the Realme P3x, CMF By Nothing Phone 1, and iQOO Z10x 5G are worth considering.
