With the already successful smartphones like Find X and R17 Pro in its lineup, Oppo is back at it again with its new attention-grabber called Oppo F11 Pro. The smartphone comes with a massive 48-megapixel camera, near bezel-less experience, a 4000mAh battery and of course a pop-up selfie camera. Oppo recently launched a special edition of the device dubbed Oppo F11 Pro Marvels Avengers in order to commemorate the release of Avengers: End Game.
Luckily, we somehow managed to get our hands on this limited edition variant and I’ve been using this device for a while now. Although the device sounds impressive on paper, how does it perform in the day-to-day? Let’s try to find that out in our review of Oppo F11 Pro Marvels Avengers Edition.
Price in India, Variants, Availability
The all-new Marvel Avengers Edition comes in a single storage variant featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Coming to the colour option, the device is only available in Space Blue option. We’ll talk more about the design and build later on. The smartphone is available to purchase exclusively via Amazon India for a price tag of INR 27,990. At the time of writing this review, there are no special offers which you can benefit from. In fact, getting your hands on the Oppo F11 Pro Marvel Avengers Limited Edition is a bit challenging.

Since this is the special edition we’re talking about here, the Oppo F11 Pro Marvel Avengers Edition comes packed in a rather big premium box. Moving aside from the current trend, Oppo decided to use the black colour box with a big Avengers logo on the front and “Avengers End Game” printed on the sides. To make things a bit interesting, Oppo decided to keep the device a little bit of surprise since the first thing you’ll come across with the collection certificate. The collection certificate features the emblem of each six Avengers with a golden coin in the centre.
The Golden coin has the Avengers logo on the front and the Avengers End Game written on the back. It feels very hefty and is definitely a good collectable item. Another interesting thing found inside the box is the back case which again reminds you of Marvel Avengers. The case has a soft lining on the inside and faux-leather like material on the outside. The back cover represents Captain America with the blue colour and shield designed at the back. Captain America shield also doubles as a phone ring which you can use in order to get that extra grip.
Apart from all these, there is a fast charger adapter, Micro-USB cable and a pair of earphones. Sadly, Oppo decided to use ordinary white colour with these essentials eve though it is a special edition. You also get a SIM ejector tool and some reading manuals.

With specifications cleared out of the way, let’s jump right into the first aspect of the device.
Design and Build
Like the back case, the limited edition of the Oppo F11 Pro is basically Captain-America themed. As expected, the device makes use of the trending glass and metal sandwich design which to be honest feels very premium. At the back, there is a fresh coat of blue paint with a big Avengers logo which looks pretty incredible. To give this device a more textured look, Oppo decided to go with small hexagonal patterns on the back which you’ll be able to see if you look closely. There’s a dual-camera setup at the back along with an LED flash and a physical fingerprint sensor. If you look closely, you’ll also find the Avengers logo in the camera housing.
The front is dominated by a near bezel-less screen with no cutout for cameras. The brand decided to opt for the motorized pop-up mechanism to house the selfie camera. The cut-out opens up pretty quickly and feels solid in my daily usage. Although it does attracts few dust particles which is worth considering for long term usage. When it comes to the build quality, Oppo F11 Pro Marvel Edition manages to live up to our expectation. Thanks to the curved edges, the device feels more comfortable and sleek in the hand.
At the bottom, there is a 3.5-mm headphone jack, a Micro-USB port for charging and a speaker grille. On the left side, there is a power button with a red accent which adds up to the overall theme of the device. The volume shocker, as usual, can be found on the right side. Overall, the build quality of Oppo F11 Pro Marvel Avengers Edition is flawless and the device definitely looks impressive with its Captain America theme. For someone who’s a Avengers fan, the device offers a chance to geek out completely.
Display
Like the regular variant, the Oppo F11 Pro Marvel Avengers Edition is equipped with a large 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with notch-free and bezel-less experience. As mentioned earlier, the brand decided to go with the pop-up camera mechanism in order to provide a massive real estate on the front and thanks to this decision, the phone has a impressive 90.9% screen-to-body-ratio.
With Full HD+ resolution having 2340×1080 pixels, the colour accuracy and viewing angles are pretty impressive on this display. Watching movies or playing games on this device is a joyful experience largely due to the near bezel-less experience. Of course, the display is not as impressive as the high-res AMOLED panels. The device still manages to churn out good overall experience with a good level of brightness, perfect viewing angles and impressive colours. Coming to the sunlight legibility, I rarely had to manually tweak the brightness level of the phone outside.
Oppo F11 Pro Marvel Edition turns out to be a pretty impressive smartphone not just in terms of design but in raw performance too. It manages to pack all the sweetness with its bezel-less design, pop-up camera and long-lasting battery life. The design of the device is pretty incredible especially for those who’re into the Marvel universe. Even though the phone runs on P70 chipset, you can still feel the smooth and responsiveness throughout the interface. I am not a big fan of OxygenOS but after using it on this device, I seem to differ. The software optimisation is on point with this device.
With that said, if you’re really attracted to the design aesthetic of the device, you can definitely go for the limited edition. If not, there is a cheaper regular Oppo F11 Pro waiting for you with the same sets of hardware. Oppo seems to manufacture some of the impressive phones from a while now and I really like that direction for this brand. The entire F11 Pro lineup is perfect for someone who wants to try new without missing out on all the popular bells and whistles in the smartphone industry.
