    Design and Build

The Realme GT 7 and Moto Razr 60 couldn’t be more different in design philosophy. The GT 7 sports a traditional slab design with a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED display, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Moto Razr 60, by contrast, is a flip foldable with a 6.9-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED main display and a 4-inch external AMOLED cover screen. It features a titanium-reinforced hinge and an IP48 rating. So, it has got dust resistance and water endurance on point, tolerating immersion up to 1.5m for 30 minutes.

You might expect the GT 7 to even weigh lighter due to the design, but it’s not. It is 206 grams while the Moto Razr 60 is 188 grams. Other than that, the Razr 60 has a luxurious vegan leather finish.

The Realme GT 7 display supports LTPO technology. This means the refresh rate will drop as low as 1Hz to maintain power efficiency. The display also supports 6000 nits brightness. Otherwise, it also highly responsive with a 2,600Hz. And we were talking about how this is an apt gaming device right?

The Moto Razr 60 is no less as it has LTPO in the main display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The peak at 3,000 nits only. Performance

The Realme GT 7 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, a 4nm chipset with impressive performanc. Expect excellent multitasking and gaming performance. However, under heavy graphics loads, the chipset may throttle slightly.

The Moto Razr 60 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, a capable but upper-mid-range 4nm chipset, paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB storage. While it handles daily tasks and most games well, it’s less powerful than the GT 7’s chipset. The Mediatek Dimensity 9400e is anyway a flagship level processor that stands ahead of MediaTek Dimensity 7400X in the performance game.

    Camera

The Realme GT 7 features a triple-camera setup: a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide. It excels in daylight photography. The portraits are seriously good as I have seen in so many samples. Has sharp details and accurate colours, and supports 8K video at 30fps and 4K at 120fps. The 32-megapixel front camera delivers solid selfies.

The Moto Razr 60 is not quite known as the photography champion but it still delivers nicely being in the premium range. It has a dual-camera system: a 50-megapixel wide-angle primary with OIS (up to 2x lossless zoom) and a 50-megapixel ultrawide with autofocus for macro shots. Even though this one has better selfie camera of 50-megapixel, offering high-resolution selfies, it lacks autofocus. Video recording is limited to 4K at 60fps.

Reverse wire charging is also available. The Moto Razr 60 has a 4,500mAh battery with 68W wired and 30W wireless charging. The Razr 60’s battery is decent for a foldable but can’t match the GT 7’s endurance.

    Software and Features

Both phones UI is based out of Android 15. The Realme GT 7 uses Realme UI 6 and the Razr 60 features Motorola’s Moto AI suite, including features like Catch Me Up and Smart Connect. The GT 7 supports eSIM, but lacks a 3.5mm jack. The Razr 60 also supports eSIM, with a side-mounted fingerprint reader and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.

Both offer modern software experiences, but the Razr 60’s AI features and foldable-specific optimisations give it a slight edge. The GT 7’s IR blaster is a niche addition.

    Verdict: Which Should You Buy?

If you are looking for raw power, that enables long gaming sessions or movie streaming or even just a lot of multi-tasking, Realme GT 7 stands as a capable device. The best part about it is the super long battery life and fast charging. You get this phone at a lower price point as well, proving much value for your needs.

However, if style is an important factor for you, Moto Razr 60 stands out. It is not just fashionable to carry one but also compact. Most of the other basic features like Camera, UI experience, apps usage works fine, if not the best. Personally, I feel the battery life could have been better but it will still last you a day comfortably.
