Are you looking for a way to see all of the phone numbers linked with your Aadhaar card? It’s now possible because the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) portal allows people to check the number of linked phone numbers to their Aadhaar number. Consumers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are the first to benefit from the platform. It’s primarily useful if you wish to disable any connections that are no longer active. The phone numbers associated with your Aadhaar number can also help you in completing the know-your-customer (KYC) process; required by banks and other government agencies.

Department of Telecommunications (DoT) unveiled the Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection (TAFCOP) portal in April; which allows telecom subscribers to check for any phone numbers linked to their Aadhaar number. The portal is now only available in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Though, the Department of Transportation has stated that it will be available to all users in the country soon.

Steps to Check How Many Phone Numbers Are Linked To Your Adhaar:
Step-1: Visit the TAFCOP portal https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/ and enter your contact number.
Step-2: Now, click on the ‘Request OTP’ tab.
Step-3: To validate, enter the OTP number received.
Step-4: Then, all the numbers linked with your Aadhaar number will be displayed on the website. From these numbers, users can report and block the numbers not in use by themselves or are no longer required.

According to the TAFCOP portal page, the website will help the subscribers to check the number of mobile connections working in their name. They can also take necessary action for regularising their additional mobile connections if any. However, the primary responsibility of handling the Customer Acquisition Form (CAF) lies with the service providers.
One subscriber can link only nine mobile numbers to their Adhaar, according to DoT standards. When it exceeds that number, the department considers the account a bulk connection for commercial purposes.
