While HMD Global, Nokia’s custodian, is gradually extending its 5G range, the company’s new Nokia G300 smartphone was recently unveiled. Even though it’s a 5G phone, the Nokia G300 is the most affordable model in the company’s current lineup. Even though the Nokia G300 isn’t a radical departure from other Nokia phones, the phone’s lower price makes it an excellent value. So, let’s get started with the Nokia G300. 

Nokia G300 price in India 

There is just one version of this gadget available from the manufacturer. Priced at $199 (about Rs 15,000 in India), the Nokia G300 is a good value for money. The pricing shown is for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. Starting on October 19, it will be available in a single Meteor Grey colour and will be available for purchase in the United States. It’s unclear when the Nokia G300 will be released in India at this time.

Nokia G300 Design 

The Nokia G300, which weighs 210 grammes and has a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a V-notch, making it a bulky device with an old school design. A fingerprint sensor is located on the side of the device, incorporated within the power key. In addition to facial recognition on the front for unlocking, the phone has a Brightness Booster and OZO Audio Surround technology. The G300 is equipped with a dedicated Google Assistant button and a 3.5mm audio port, which is the same as that seen on prior Nokia devices.

The Nokia G300 comes pre-installed with Android 11, but HMD expects to keep releasing new versions of Android for at least another two years. Although the Nokia G300 is 5G-ready, this model can only operate at speeds of less than 6GHz.

Even better, the camera has support for electronic image stabilisation (EIS). With an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, the Nokia G300 makes a strong case for itself in the smartphone market. 

Nokia G300 Battery 

According to the manufacturer, the phone can run for two days on a single charge owing to the 4470mAh battery on board. This is useful for individuals who regularly commute or work in locations where it is not practical to charge their phones on a regular basis. Because of the 18W charging technology, it should charge more quickly. You can use NFC for wireless sharing and payments, as well as a 3.5mm headphone port.

Nokia G300 Verdict 

In terms of price and features, the Nokia G300 5G is a great value for money option from the company. With a 4470mAh battery and enough internal storage for your photos and videos, the brand has given you much for your money considering its price range. However, if you are looking for a smartphone with a large RAM and a better display, then this is not meant for you.
