Google’s Product Roadmap has leaked online as some sources suggest that Google is planning to launch its Google Smartphone Lineup soon. The flagship may most likely include Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8a. Chances are that they will be launched in the coming year. The 2024 lineup will likely include three Pixel 9 series smartphones. Moreover, the company is also planning to launch the Google Pixel Fold and Google Pixel 7A during the Google I/O event, which will take place sometime in April/May 2023.

Android Authority leaked all this information via a report quoting anonymous sources. The leak also shared the possible roadmap for several Google products in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Let us know more about the Google flagship phones in the article below.

Google Pixel Phone For 2023:

According to the report, the brand will unveil two smartphones codenamed “lynx” and “Felix”. The handsets will be launched during the Google I/O event in April or May 2023. The codename “lynx” refers to the Pixel 7a, and “Felix” refers to the Pixel Fold. The Google Pixel 7A will likely cost $449 (roughly Rs. 37,000). In contrast, the Pixel fold will cost around  $1,799 (roughly Rs. 1,49,000). The handset will go head to head against the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series.

Google Pixel 8 series

The Google Pixel 8 with the codename “Shiba” and Google Pixel 8 Pro with the codename “husky” will likely go official in 2023. The 8 series resembles quite a lot with the Google Pixel 7 series. However, the Pixel 8 will come with a smaller display and overall smaller form factor. In contrast, the Pixel 8 Pro will have the same display and general measurements as the Pixel 7 pro. Sources suggest that the next generation flagship smartphones will feature new SoC codenamed “Zuma”. The new SoC will most likely be called Tensor G3.

Additionally, the company may launch Pixel 8a, codenamed “Akita”, as a possible successor to Pixel 7a in the coming year. The Pixel 8a will most likely compete with Apple’s iPhone SE models and is expected to have a price tag of $499 (roughly Rs. 41,000).

Google Pixel Lineup For 2024:

Reports suggest the company plans to release three smartphones under the Pixel 9 series in the fall of 2024. The Pixel 9 will most likely feature the same design and size as the Pixel 8. In contrast, the Pixel 9 Pro, with the codename “komodo”, will come with a 6.7-inch display. The third smartphone in the lineup will feature a 6.3-inch display. This is similar to Apple’s sizing strategy on the latest iPhone 14 series.

Moreover, the upcoming handsets will feature Tensor G4, codenamed “Redondo”. The report also suggests that the company may unveil a follow-up foldable in 2024. The company may formulate its plan based on the consumer response to its first foldable phone.

Google Pixel Lineup For 2025:

As per sources, Google is planning Galaxy Z Flip-style clamshell foldable handsets for 2025. However, chances are that the company may introduce four non-folding smartphones. Just like Apple’s iPhone 14 series, the vanilla model and pro model will most likely be offered in larger and smaller sizes. Google’s plan for launching Pixel Fold successors in 2025 likely depends on how the original Pixel Fold performs in the market in 2023.
