  • Since their launch in October 2021, the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have been loved by users. The March update for these phones aims to fix one of the most critical issues users have been facing – Wi-Fi randomly disconnects. This was one of the issues introduced by the February update and users have found this bug pretty annoying. Google is also rolling out support for Verizon’s 5G C-Band on the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, which will give users access to the ultra-wideband frequencies, but this is limited to US users only.

This update comes with a patch for the Wi-Fi issue that rose after users installed the February update. The March feature drop for other Google Pixel devices was announced a couple of weeks ago and now.

The update is now live and brings the mentioned features for the Pixel 6 duo. It comes with improved night photography in Snapchat, custom stickers, support for YouTube watch parties in Google Duo and a new Live Caption for communicating without even talking during phone calls.

Google is usually very careful about their updates and delaying them for better patches is not new. Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro owners can download the update by checking for it on their phones. If you have some other version of Pixel, you can install the OTA files and factory images by following the instructions on the Google dev site. However, it is recommended to wait for the update to show up on your phone to avoid software issues.
