The Apple iPhone series of devices always tend to take the market by storm. Last year, we saw the iPhone 12 series of devices come with the Apple A14 Bionic chipset, which is currently the fastest processor in the market. However, the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC still may come a bit close in performance to this chipset, according to reports. The company is now all set to launch its iPhone 13 series of devices.

Now, we can expect to see significant differences in terms of the overall size and specs of these four models in the series. In this article, we compare the vanilla iPhone 13 and the Pro variant of the device.
iPhone 13 Vs iPhone 13 Pro: Differences
Display
Now, going by Apple’s history of devices, one thing that majorly differentiates the models is the display size. We can expect to see this exact difference between the upcoming 13 and 13 Pro models. Going by reports and leaks, the 13 Pro models will come with 120Hz ProMotion displays. On the other hand, the vanilla model will come with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
In addition, the company will reportedly offer the Always-On display feature on the Pro models whereas, the vanilla model will not be getting this feature. So, gaming and overall viewing content on the Pro model will be much more seamless than on the vanilla model.
Camera Setup and Battery Capacity
The upcoming iPhone 13 series of devices are expected to pack amazing camera-centric features. For example, the 13 and 13 Mini will reportedly come with a Portrait mode along with Astrophotography features to shoot the night sky.
On the other hand, the Pro models in the series will come with 6-element ultra-wide-angle sensors, which offer a significantly better image quality. Additionally, only the Pro models will reportedly come with LiDAR sensors. This will offer better auto-focus and AR performance on the device. Moreover, the Pro models will have an additional telephoto sensor for enhanced zoomed-in shots.

iPhone 13 Pricing
According to a report by TrendForce, the iPhone 13 price will be very similar to the iPhone 12 price. Going by this, we can expect the iPhone 13 price to start at $799 and the Pro variant to start at $999. Further, these prices convert to roughly Rs. 58,704 and Rs. 73,399, respectively. However, we can expect to see slightly higher than normal prices for the iPhones. This is because of the global chip shortage and increasing production costs.
Design and Colour Options
When it comes to the design of the iPhone 13 series models, there is some great news! According to multiple reports, all four of the upcoming series smartphones will be getting smaller notch designs. This means that users of the new and upcoming iPhone 13 series will be getting significantly more screens to work with. This immediately makes the upcoming series worth it.
Another thing that may change on the design front is that we will most likely be seeing a diagonal camera setup. Moreover, the camera modules will be larger, as per leaks and reports. This is to house larger sensors in the setup. Further, when it comes to thickness, the iPhone 13 Pro models will reportedly be thicker than their predecessors, although they may feature very similar dimensions.
