Huawei FreeBuds 4
The Huawei FreeBuds 4 is somewhat smaller than the Huawei FreeBuds 3 when comparing the earbuds and the charging case. A single earbud has dimensions of 41.4 mm in height, 16,8 mm in width, and 18,5 mm in depth. It weighs just 4.1 grams. The charging case is pebble-shaped and has a diameter of 58 mm. Moreover, it has a height of 21.2 mm and weighs 38 grams (with the buds removed). Moreover, the same Kirin A1 processor, which also powers the company’s GT2-series of smartwatches, earbuds, and even the FreeBuds Studio, is packed inside along with a slightly bigger 14.3 mm driver.
The overall decrease in size has no negative effects on battery capacity. It has a 30mAh battery for each earbud and 410mAh for the charging case. Furthermore, this year’s earphones come with an upgrade to Bluetooth 5.2 connection. Moreover, it has achieved the IPX4 grade against splashes coming from all sides. Moving further, both the bone sensor and wireless charging, which were features of the predecessor, have been removed. Furthermore, there are no known intentions to release a version that supports them in the future.
