How To Update macOS?

To update your macOS, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Click on the Apple Menu icon at the top left corner of your screen, right beside the Finder.

Step 2: Then, click on About This Mac.

Step 3: Under the Overview section, click on Software Update.

Step 4: You will be redirected to the System Preferences tab, where your MacBook will automatically start searching for updates. If it finds any, it will pop up on your screen.

Step 6: Once the update downloads, click on Restart Now to install it. That should do the trick!

Enable Auto-Update

You can enable auto-update to get rid of the hassle of constantly checking for updates. The system will automatically download the update when you set it to update automatically. Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Head over to the Software Update page again by navigating to Apple Menu > About This Mac > Software Update.

Step 2: In the Software Update page, right below, you will see a checkbox that says Automatically keep my Mac up to date.
