    1. Roshni Nadar Malhotra

    Roshni Nadar Malhotra is the Chairperson of HCL Technologies. She is also the CEO of HCL Corporation, a Trustee of the Shiv Nadar Foundation, and the Founder and Trustee of The Habitats Trust.

    Daughter of Shiv and Kiran Nadar, Roshni is the first woman to lead a listed IT company in India. Don’t let her father’s pioneer work overshadow her own achievements. She is a legend who is ranked 54th on Forbes’ list of the world’s 100 most powerful women. Before joining HCL, she was a successful NEWS producer at Sky News in the United Kingdom. Moreover, in recognition of her outstanding work in business and in philanthropy, Roshni has received several honours and accolades. Moreover, in 2020, Forbes also featured her among the ‘25 Most Powerful Businesswomen in Asia.’

    2. Falguni Nayar

    You have heard this name somewhere right? Can’t remember? Well, here is a hint for you, Nykaa! Yes, this self-made women billionaire has marked her presence in Indian startup history. Nykaa is the brainchild of India’s very own Falguni Nayar. Nykaa, India’s biggest fashion and lifestyle portal, is a part of our lives be it for men or women. But she has also changed the way we could shop for anything beauty related to this creation.

    After serving 20 years as a venture investor and merchant with Kotak Mahindra, she suddenly announced her departure to pursue her dream. Nykaa was founded in 2012; capitalizing on the scope of beauty and skincare products online.

    Honoured by ‘Businesswoman of the Year’ at the Economic Times Awards for Corporate Excellence 2019, for her contribution to the Indian beauty industry. The ‘Woman Ahead’ award at the Economic Times Startup Awards in 2017. With the Nykaa IPO creating a buzz in the share market, she has also marked her presence in Indian Startups history. Moreover, she is a real-life example of “Age is just a number”.

    3. Debjani Ghosh

    Debjani is a veteran of the technology industry. She is also a staunch champion of gender diversity in corporate India, Debjani was the first woman to lead Intel India, Manufacturers’ Association for Information Technology (MAIT). But now she leads NASSCOM. Over her illustrious career spanning over two decades, she held diverse leadership roles across geographies in South and Southeast Asia at Intel.

    For those who don’t know, the Indian Leadership Forum is organised by NASSCOM. It is a non-profit organisation that provides a venue for developing firms to network and promote their products. National, international, regional, and flagship events are all hosted by NASSCOM. Debjani Ghosh is the organization’s first female president in 30 years!

    She is a firm believer in the ability of technology to improve people’s lives and livelihoods. She is also committed to using it for the greater good. Moreover, she was a driving force behind the creation of the ‘Think Digital, Think India’ strategy. She redefines the meaning of women leading in India in the tech field.

    4. Upasana Taku

    Heard of Mobikwik? Obviously, almost everyone has! Considering how digital payments have become a part of our daily lives, Mobikwik comes under the top mobile payment networks in India. It stands as India’s largest independent mobile payments network. Founded by Upasana Taku and Bipin Preet Singh in April 2009. The co-founder has become the first female to run a payments company in India and strongly believes in her vision for India’s fintech market.

    5.  Akanksha Hazari

    Haven’t heard of her yet? Don’t worry, once you acquaint yourself with her achievements you will always remember her. Akansha Hazari is a second-time entrepreneur with over a decade of business experience across India, MENA and the US. She founded LoveLocal in January 2020.

She has been the only Indian tech entrepreneur to be featured in the book ‘100 Women Using their Power to Empower. The multi-talented founder is also an alumnus of prestigious institutes like Princeton and Cambridge. She has been acknowledged globally, with The Hult Prize 2011.
