The MediaTek Dimensity 720 was launched earlier this year and there are quite a few smartphones that use it. To name a few, the Huawei Enjoy 20 and Enjoy 20 Plus, Oppo Reno 4 SE, and the Realme V3 use this processor. The Vivo Y73s is the latest smartphone to come with this processor.
Vivo Y73s Specifications
The Vivo Y73s features a 6.44-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. Additionally, it is an AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. We can also see a 90.1 percent screen-to-body ratio alongside HDR10 certification. Moreover, the smartphone runs on Android 10 along with Funtouch OS 10.5 skin on top.
On the processor front, the Vivo Y73s is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC. Furthermore, the octa-core processor is paired with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. Additionally, the internal storage of the device is also expandable via a microSD card slot.

When it comes to the cameras, the Vivo Y73s features a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor. Additionally, the sensors come with apertures of f/1.79, f/2.2 and f/2.4, respectively. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.

The Vivo Y73s packs a decent 4100mAh battery along with 18W Dual Flash fast charging support. The battery is said to deliver up to 18.8 hours of talk time on 4G network. The smartphone also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Besides, the smartphone also packs all the important connectivity options like 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth v5.1 and a USB Type-C port for charging. Moreover, the smartphone also retains the conventional 3.5mm headphone jack.
Price And Availability
The Vivo Y73s price in China has been set at CNY 1998. This converts to roughly Rs. 21,700 in India. Moreover, this is the price for the single 8GB/128GB variant that the smartphone comes in.

Furthermore, the Vivo V73s comes in two color options namely Black Mirror and Silver Moon. The 5G handset is available for pre-ordering in China. However, the shipping starts from October 16. However, the global launch details of the 5G handset is currently under wraps.
From the looks of it, the Vivo Y73s is definitely a value for money smartphone. The great 7nm based processor along with a great camera setup and amazing price makes it a must buy.
