Nothing phone (1) Launch in India

The Nothing Phone (1) has a straightforward visual vocabulary throughout its design. Let’s take a more in-depth look at the pricing of the Nothing Phone (1) in India, as well as the launch deals, the specs, and the features.

Nothing phone (1) Price in India

Nothing Phone (1) price in India is Rs. 28,590. As of March 5, 2023, you can find the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version of the Nothing Phone (1) on Amazon at the current market rate.

There are also two other variants available which are 8GB+256GB storage for Rs. 30,999 and 12GB+256GB storage for Rs. 37,999.

Nothing phone (1) Design

The illuminated accents on the rear of the smartphone are undoubtedly the feature that draws the most attention to it. Nothing refers to this as the Glyph interface. While our first reaction was one of concern, we’ve come to realize that it’s more than simply a pretty design decision. It is possible to assign one-of-a-kind light patterns to individual contacts as well as other app alerts.

The white panels that are located behind the backing made of Gorilla Glass have a texture that looks like paper. When the phone is plugged in, the progress of the charging is also shown by the bottom light-up strip. As a bonus, there is a red indicator bulb that flashes while the phone is recording.

It is not a negative thing that the flat edges and metal frame give it the sense of an iPhone, since the frame is composed of recyclable aluminium. Although the bezel surrounding the 6.55-inch OLED display is thin, it is nonetheless evident. In addition, this mobile device has a capacitive fingerprint sensor that is embedded inside the display, and it has been shown to be reliable so far.

It has a USB Type-C connector and a speaker at the bottom. The stereo sound may be enjoyed with the earpiece acting as a second speaker. The device is 8.3mm thin, but it weighs 193.5g, which isn’t insignificant. In order to operate the phone with one hand, the volume and power controls are located on opposing sides of the chassis. The Nothing Phone (1) has an IP53 rating for water and dust protection.

Nothing phone (1) Display

The display of the Nothing Phone (1) is an OLED panel, and it can refresh at a rate of 120 Hz. Because it uses an OLED screen, the display that you receive measures 6.55 inches and is incredibly clear, bright, and generates very nice colours. The display possesses a resolution that is Full-HD+, and a colour depth of 10 bits. The streaming of HDR10+ content is supported on the display, and also features 500 nits of typical brightness.

Nothing phone (1) Performance

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G+ SoC powers the Nothing Phone (1), making it a powerful 5G phone. This chip can work in conjunction with as much as 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and as much as 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Nothing Phone (1) operates on Nothing OS, which is essentially vanilla Android 12 modified with a few additions and alterations, including a specialized icon pack, additional screensavers and plug-in and individualized themes for the Glyph Interface’s notification alerts.

Nothing also guarantees that users will get Android system upgrades for a period of three years and will receive security patches for a period of four years, which is a welcome development.

Nothing phone (1) Camera

The main camera on the Nothing Phone (1) has a resolution of 50 megapixels with both OIS and EIS features. The secondary camera on the Nothing Phone 1 features a resolution of 50 megapixels. This includes all of the standard capabilities like as high dynamic range (HDR), portrait mode, night vision, slow-motion video recording at 120 frames per second, and more.

Additionally, there is a front-facing selfie camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels and the option to use face unlock. A few early samples show good camera performance and picture quality that is comparable to high-end flagships.

Nothing phone (1) Battery

The battery capacity of the Nothing Phone (1) is 4,500 mAh, and it is compatible with rapid wired charging of up to 33 watts through USB PD. Support is included for 15W rapid wireless charging as well as 5W wireless charging in the opposite direction. Because wireless charging is a functionality that is still relatively uncommon in the mid-range market, this should make it easier for the Nothing Phone (1) to get a solid foothold.

Nothing phone (1) Verdict

On the basis of its specifications alone, the Nothing Phone (1) seems to have the potential to be a respectable product at the midrange price point. The fact that it is capable of wireless charging must give it an advantage over the competitors, and the Glyph alert system unquestionably differentiates it from every other phone that is now available on the market.
