Samsung has taken a bold step in the global smartphone market. Despite rising production costs, the company has decided not to increase prices for its upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series. This move comes at a time when many smartphone brands are raising prices due to expensive components and weak currencies. Samsung aims to protect its loyal users and maintain its strong position in the premium phone segment.
The Galaxy S26 series will launch later this year, and pricing will remain the same for the fourth year in a row. This decision sets Samsung apart from several competitors who have already raised flagship prices.
Galaxy S26 Price Remains the Same

According to reports from South Korea, Samsung will keep the Galaxy S26 pricing unchanged compared to the Galaxy S23, S24, and S25 series.
Expected Prices in India
- Samsung Galaxy S26 – around Rs 66,500
- Samsung Galaxy S26 Plus – around Rs 83,000
- Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra – around Rs 1,08,000
Galaxy S26 Prices remain steady even though smartphone manufacturing costs have increased by 10–15 percent across the industry. Memory chips, processors, and camera parts are now much more expensive.
Samsung plans to unveil the Galaxy S26 lineup at its Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco. The phones are expected to go on sale globally in March.

Key Upgrades And Samsung’s Strategy
Instead of changing prices, Samsung will focus on small but useful upgrades. The company believes stable pricing will help it keep its global market share, which is currently close to 20 percent.
Galaxy S26 Series Expected Specifications:
- Galaxy S26
- Battery increased from 4,000mAh to 4,300mAh
- Galaxy S26 Plus
- Improved zoom camera performance
- Galaxy S26 Ultra
- Better display quality
- Enhanced security features
Samsung has dropped plans to rename the base model as “Galaxy S26 Pro.” The company will stick to familiar names after poor response to earlier branding experiments.
To balance Galaxy S26 Price, Samsung may slightly increase prices of its Samsung Galaxy A series. This helps protect profits while keeping flagship phones attractive.
Industry experts say this strategy could work well. Many buyers delay upgrades when prices rise too fast. By freezing prices, Samsung hopes to boost sales volume and customer trust.
