Lava Z60

Released in September 2017, Lava Z60 has a 5-inch touchscreen display at a pixel density of 196 pixels per inch. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. With the running interface as Android 7.0 (Nougat), this phone has a (5MP+5MP) set of front and rear cameras that can deliver decent photographs even at this price range. Lava Z60 has an inbuilt storage of 16GB and is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone and a 2,500mAh non-removable battery. Weighing super light at just 149 grams, this phone looks stylish compared to its competitors at this range.

Lava Z60 has a dimension of (143.6×72.3×9.1) mm, weighing 149 grams, it has a sleek finish and feels super-light. It can get easily noticed on the hands as it has an edge to its looks, but lacks a fingerprint sensor which would have made things run smoother.

The 5-inch IPS LCD screen with Capacitive MultiTouch  provides an average viewing experience because of its reasonably low screen resolution and PPI, which can make it difficult to make out text/reading and the videos to lack clarity while playing. So, if you’re a keen book reader or movie viewer, this phone might not be in your top 10 phones to buy under INR 5,500/-.

Lava Z60s comes with a decent Quad Core CPU that makes it perform in better parallelism and execute multi-tasks smoothly without slowing down the Interface, but it can get pretty messy when it comes to playing 3D/graphic-rich games over the phone. Also, the phone can take some time to start but manages to work well when it is all done.  

Lava Z60 provides with an impressive set of cameras (5MP+5MP Front and Rear Cameras With LED Flash in Rear) and photo features that might make it one of the best ones at the given price range. Its cameras with LED can help you take good photos, make video calls at a better quality than its contemporaries without any issues. Also, thanks to its 1080p @ 30fps FHD recording, you can do a lot of videos on this phone to keep. The Bokeh effect works best in this model for the rear camera making your photos strike out in real-time.

It has a 2500 mAh Li-ion battery which comes with a removable state which provides you with the option to remove the battery when the phone freezes or replacing the battery when the charging capacity is degraded. The Z60 provides an overall 12 Hours talk time and 11 days standby power on 3G.

Overall the Lava Z60 is a moderately average phone with a good set of features that can help you get along for heavy usage in connectivity but lacks the strength to deliver stunning results when it comes to viewing and performing abilities. It’s a good buy if you’re a first-time smartphone user.
