Verdict: iQOO Z11 Is the Clear Winner
  • The iQOO Z11 Vs Vivo S2 comparison is interesting because these two phones are basically siblings. iQOO is a Vivo sub-brand, and both phones share plenty of hardware. You get a large curved AMOLED display, a 7050mAh battery, 44W charging, IP68/IP69 protection and Android 16 on both.

But there is one important difference: the iQOO Z11 costs less while giving you a faster 144Hz display, a stronger chipset and a more useful secondary camera.

So, is there any real reason to spend more on the Vivo S2? Let’s find out.

Quick answer: The iQOO Z11 is the better phone for most buyers. It is cheaper, faster, smoother and more versatile for photography.

iQOO Z11 Vs Vivo S2: Price and Value

The iQOO Z11 starts at Rs. 34,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. Higher configurations go up to around Rs. 49,999.

The Vivo S2 starts at around 39,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 256GB version sits roughly in the Rs. 44,999 to Rs. 49,999 range.

That Rs. 5,000 starting price difference matters.

The Vivo does give you more RAM in its base variant, but the iQOO Z11 has the stronger processor and more configuration options. In my opinion, the iQOO makes much more sense at its starting price.

If bank and exchange offers bring both phones closer together, the Z11 still has the better hardware package.

    Winner: iQOO Z11

Design and Build: Almost Identical Phones

At first glance, you might struggle to tell these phones apart. Both have a large 6.83-inch curved display, a slim body of around 8mm and a horizontal camera setup.

The iQOO Z11 has a cleaner-looking pill-shaped camera glass, while the Vivo S2 uses more noticeable individual camera rings.

The Z11 comes in Aurora Green and Celestial Blue, while the Vivo S2 offers Sapphire Blue, Regal Bronze and Silk White.

Neither phone feels truly premium because both use plastic composite backs and frames. Still, the IP68 and IP69 ratings are a big plus at this price. These phones are built to handle more than the usual accidental splash.

They are also surprisingly manageable for phones with such large displays and batteries, though one-handed use can still be a challenge.

    Display: iQOO Z11 Is Smoother

Both phones feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 1260 x 2800 resolution, HDR support and high brightness.

The main difference is refresh rate:

    • iQOO Z11: 144Hz
    • Vivo S2: 120Hz

A 120Hz display already feels very smooth, so don’t expect the difference to completely transform your experience. But the iQOO does feel slightly more fluid when scrolling through apps, social media and supported games.

Both screens are excellent for watching videos and outdoor use. They also support high-frequency PWM dimming for better eye comfort.

The curved screen looks immersive, but there is one downside: finding a good screen protector can be more difficult than with a flat display.

    Winner: iQOO Z11

Performance: Dimensity 7500 Turbo vs 7360 Turbo

This is where the iQOO Z11 Vs Vivo S2 comparison becomes clearer.

The iQOO Z11 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo, while the Vivo S2 gets the Dimensity 7360 Turbo. Both are 4nm chips, but the iQOO has a noticeable performance advantage.

Benchmark results show the Z11 reaching roughly 1.11 million on AnTuTu, compared to around 0.95 million for the Vivo S2.

In normal daily use, both phones are fast. Social media, browsing, multitasking and video streaming won’t be a problem.

Gaming is where the gap becomes easier to notice. Both can run games like COD Mobile and Asphalt comfortably at medium settings, but the iQOO Z11 handles heavier loads better and maintains performance more consistently.

The Z11 also goes up to 12GB RAM, while the Vivo S2 is limited to 8GB.

For someone planning to keep the phone for several years, I’d definitely prefer the extra performance headroom of the iQOO.

Camera Comparison: The Ultrawide Makes a Difference

Both phones use a capable 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony sensor. The iQOO Z11 specifically uses the Sony IMX882 with OIS.

In daylight, both phones can capture detailed and vibrant photos. OIS also helps with stability, particularly in lower-light situations.

The big difference is the secondary camera:

    • iQOO Z11: 8-megapixel ultrawide
    • Vivo S2: 2-megapixel depth sensor

This is a much bigger advantage than the numbers might suggest.

An ultrawide camera is actually useful. You can use it for landscapes, group photos and wider scenes. A 2-megapixel depth sensor, on the other hand, mainly helps with portrait effects and adds very little flexibility.

Both phones have a 32-megapixel front camera and support 4K video recording at 30fps from the front and rear cameras.

Don’t buy either phone expecting flagship-level photography. Low-light shots are decent rather than exceptional. But for daily photos, social media and casual videos, both get the job done.

The iQOO simply gives you more options.

    Winner: iQOO Z11

Battery and Charging: Same Capacity, Different Results

On paper, this should be a tie.

Both the iQOO Z11 and Vivo S2 pack a massive 7050mAh battery and support 44W fast charging. A full charge takes a little over an hour, depending on usage and conditions.

Both also support reverse and bypass charging.

But real-world battery optimisation gives the iQOO Z11 an advantage. Review testing suggests the Z11 can last significantly longer in sustained workloads, with figures of around 23.5 hours versus roughly 17 hours in PCMark Work testing.

Of course, your actual battery life will depend on gaming, brightness, mobile data and other factors. Still, the iQOO seems to use its large battery more efficiently.

For heavy users, that extra battery headroom can be genuinely useful.

    Software and Features

Both phones run Android 16 with OriginOS 6 and come with the same software support promise:

    • 3 major Android OS upgrades
    • 5 years of security updates

You also get AI-based features such as captions, creation tools and Circle to Search.

There are some pre-installed apps, so the software isn’t completely free of bloat. Stereo speakers are loud enough for videos and gaming, although bass is not particularly deep.

    Other features include:

    • Stereo speakers
    • In-display optical fingerprint sensor
    • Wi-Fi 6
    • Bluetooth 5.4
    • IR blaster on the iQOO Z11
    • No NFC on either phone in most India variants

There is no major software advantage here. Your preference will mostly come down to the hardware.

iQOO Z11 Vs Vivo S2: Who Should Buy Which?

Buy the iQOO Z11 if you want:

    • A lower starting price
    • Better overall performance
    • A smoother 144Hz display
    • An 8MP ultrawide camera
    • Better real-world battery life
    • Up to 12GB RAM
    • Better value for gaming and daily use

    Buy the Vivo S2 if:

    • You strongly prefer its colour options
    • You find it at a much lower sale price
    • You prefer the Vivo branding and design
    • You only need solid everyday performance

The Vivo S2 is not a bad phone. The problem is that the iQOO Z11 improves on it in nearly every area that matters while starting at a lower price.

    Key Points Before You Decide

The iQOO Z11 Vs Vivo S2 battle is not particularly close once you compare price and hardware together.

    • The iQOO Z11 is Rs. 5,000 cheaper at the starting price
    • Its 144Hz display is smoother than the Vivo S2’s 120Hz panel
    • The Dimensity 7500 Turbo is more powerful
    • The 8MP ultrawide is far more useful than a 2MP depth sensor
    • Both phones have the same 7050mAh battery and 44W charging
    • The iQOO shows better real-world battery optimisation.
    • Both get the same Android 16 software support

Verdict: iQOO Z11 Is the Clear Winner

The iQOO Z11 is the smarter buy in almost every scenario. It costs less but gives you a stronger processor, a faster display, better camera versatility and stronger real-world battery life.

The Vivo S2 remains a capable upper mid-range phone, and its large curved display, huge battery and strong durability ratings are all good. But at current prices, it is difficult to recommend over its own sibling.

Before buying, do check the latest bank and exchange offers and choose your RAM and storage variant carefully. Once these phones move towards the Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000 range, other stronger alternatives start entering the picture.
