Huawei Mate 40 series is debuting as the company’s flagship offering. It includes Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 Pro+ in the lineup. This series boasts of curved displays, multi-camera setups within a circular ring, and a hole-punch cut out design. Moreover, they power on Huawei’s Kirin 9000 and Kirin 9000E processors that have eight cores and are based on 5nm architecture.

 In addition, Huawei also unveiled Porsche Design Huawei Mate 40 RS.

However, to recall, this series does not come with Google Play Store so users will have to use Huawei’s AppGallery.

Huawei Mate 40 Series: Price

Huawei Mate40 comes with a price tag of  €899 (approx Rs 78,000). Whereas, the Mate40 Pro is available for €1,199 (approx Rs 1,04,000) and Mate 40 Pro+ is comes for €1,399 (approx Rs 1,21,500).

However, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate40 RS comes with a price tag of €2,299 (approx Rs 1,99,500).

Moreover, Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro comes in Black, Green, Mystic Silver, White, and Yellow color options. Whereas, the Mate 40 Pro+ is available in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White color options.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro will go on sale on 13 November in the UK. No other details are given on the other two phones.

Huawei Mate 40 Specs

It features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,376 pixels) OLED display. In addition, it comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is powered by the Kirin 9000E processor. It offers 9GB of RAM with the Huawei Mate40.

In terms of camera, Huawei Mate 40 houses a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle primary sensor with an f/1.9 lens, a 16-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, and an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens. On the front, you get a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 wide-angle lens.

Moreover, it comes with 128GB of onboard storage as per the Livestream, however, the website states 256GB of storage. The phone is backed by a 4,200mAh battery that supports 40W fast charging.

It features a 6.76-inch full-HD+ (1,344×2,772 pixels) OLED display. In addition, it comes with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The phone is powered by the Kirin 9000 processor. It offers 8GB of RAM.

In terms of camera, there is a slight difference between the regular and Pro variant. Huawei Mate 40 Pro packs a slightly different triple rear camera setup. It houses a 20-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/1.8 lens. Whereas, the tertiary camera is a 12-megapixel sensor with an f/3.4 telephoto lens. On the front, the Pro model has the same 13-megapixel camera sensor, along with a 3D depth-sensing camera.

It comes with 12GB of RAM and a quad rear camera setup. The phone carries the same camera system as the Pro variant but has an additional megapixel SuperZoom camera with 10x optical zoom and f/4.4 aperture.

There is also a 3D depth-sensing camera on the back of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro+.
