Expanding the budget smartphone series in the Indian market, Vivo Y15 was launched in May 2019 by Vivo Company. It joined the Vivo Y17, which was also launched in 2019. The smartphone was launched in two colour variants Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red. Vivo Y15 is featuring MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and runs on Funtouch OS 9, which is based on Android 9.0. The budget phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. One of the main highlights of the smartphone is its 5000 mAh battery and triple rear camera setup along with its fancy design.

The Vivo Y15 is only available in one variant, which has 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM and comes in two colour variants, Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red. The Vivo Y15 64GB variant now costs Rs. 12,500 on Amazon, however, it is out of stock on Flipkart.

The front side of the Vivo Y15 is covered fully by the 6.35-inch display, featuring a tiny water-drop notch along with a bottom bezel. Vivo Y15 is mounted with a triple camera setup on the rear side, giving a fancy look to the device. There is a fingerprint sensor on the rear side of the smartphone and the back panel with gradient finish is made of polycarbonate or plastic.

On the back panel, there is a logo from the brand on the bottom side and below the vertical rear camera setup, there is a flash provided with the smartphone. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right side of the smartphone and at the bottom side, the smartphone comes with USB 2.0 for charging the device.
