Vivo X80 Price in India
The Vivo X80 is available in two different variants in comparison to the single variant of the Pro model. The entry-level model of the Vivo X80 is priced at Rs. 54,999 and comes equipped with 8GB of RAM/128GB of storage. Beginning May 25, the Vivo X80 will be available on Flipkart, Vivo India’s online shop, and in retail stores throughout India.
Vivo X80 Design
In terms of its appearance, the phone is rather comparable to the Vivo X80 Pro. In practical terms, the only significant distinction between the Vivo X80 and the X80 Pro is that the Vivo X80 misses the periscopic camera. The positioning of the connectors and the speaker grills, in addition to everywhere else, is the same. Moreover, Vivo has bestowed the X80 with an official IP53 certification, which is not something that is often seen in smartphones in this price range.
There is glass on both the front and back and the frame is made of Aluminum. With a matte appearance, the back panel seems to be effective at repelling fingerprints. Aside from its luxury appearance and feel, the X80 weighs just 206g, making it a little bulky.
Vivo X80 Display
The Vivo X80 boasts a 120Hz display with vibrant colours, comparable to the more costly Vivo X80 Pro. However, the Vivo X80 lacks support for LTPO technology. This is very sensible given that the function is mostly available in the ultra-premium industry segment. Additionally, the X80’s display has FHD+ resolution and supports HDR10.
Vivo X80 Performance
This phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor, which debuted in India with the Vivo X80. The highest clock speed of this 4nm SoC is 3.05GHz, and the rest of its specifications suggest that it would be on an equal level with the latest chipsets available in the market including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. When compared to the previous generation, this is a significant boost and enables this smartphone to be competitive in the cutthroat market.
In addition, Vivo has included its brand new V1+ image processor inside the Vivo X80 is designed to speed up to high computational operations. Some examples of these jobs are the processing of Night mode photographs within the camera system and the interpolation of gaming frames.
Also, Vivo promises that the Vivo X80 features the most advanced single-chamber vapour cooling technology of any smartphone presently available in India. In principle, this phone ought to provide a gaming experience that is of the highest calibre. The Funtouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12, is what powers the Vivo X80.
Vivo X80 Camera
Sony’s new IMX866 sensor, which boasts an RGBW pixel layout and optical image stabilisation, makes its debut in the Vivo X80’s cameras. Vivo promises that this will enable improved low-light photography. No optical image stabilisation (OIS) is available on the 12-megapixel wide-angle or 12-megapixel portrait cameras on the Vivo X80. Vivo’s innovative Zeiss-branded video Modes option can be found in the camera app of the Vivo X80.
A front-facing camera with 32 megapixels is used for taking selfies. In addition, the Cinematographic Style feature has been added to the camera app by Vivo. This allows users to take pictures with a broader aspect ratio and add software-generated background flares to their images.
Vivo X80 Battery
The Vivo X80’s 80W fast-charging capabilities are one of its most notable features, along with its high-quality camera. The device is powered by a 4,500mAh battery, which the manufacturer says can be fully recharged in 35 minutes or less using the included charger. There is no wireless charging, however, which is a disappointment.
Vivo X80 Verdict
In addition to being an excellent camera phone, the Vivo X80 is also capable of delivering excellent gaming performance. There are also stereo speakers, 80W fast charging and IP certification that make this an excellent improvement over the X70 Pro. The price of the phone is reasonable, especially when compared to its competitors.
