There have been a few progresses when it comes to what we know about Vivo X50 series so far including a quad-camera setup, a few color options as well as an intriguing new camera feature that Vivo has been showcasing on its Weibo handle.
Vivo X50 is already teased to have a periscope-like camera setup where the Pro variant could have as large as a 48MP periscope sensor. Additionally, Vivo has confirmed the color variants i.e. Vivo X50 will arrive in a Pink color while the Vivo X50 Pro will arrive in two shades of blue. Note that there could be more color options but these are just based on the official render posted by Vivo on Weibo.

Both the phones will have a punch-hole front camera and an intriguing and odd-looking quad-camera setup at the back. Vivo has included a feature called micro gimbal camera system on the X50 series which reportedly offers greater stabilization than other devices. Vivo also posted a few videos using its gimbal feature on Vivo X50 series which were well-received by the masses.

Apparently, we don’t know much about the phone including its processor, display, storage, and others. But we do know that both the phones could arrive with a 90Hz refresh rate display as tipped by a leakster on Weibo who goes by the name Digital Chat Station. Moreover, there are speculations about the gimbal feature and how it could be available in the Pro variant only and not the vanilla variant.
We will have to wait for Vivo to make something official before June 1 when it will launch so stay tuned as more details are expected to arrive in the coming days.
