Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Launch in India

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series, which includes the South Korean company’s next flagship smartphones, was unveiled on February 9 during the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event. The Samsung Galaxy S22 5G, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus 5G, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra are all part of this year’s S-series. Samsung’s high-end smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s latest processors and boast AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rates. With the release of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung has increased the charging speed by enabling 45W of wired charging. Let’s take a look at the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra price in India and its specifications.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Price in India

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra price in India is Rs. 1,06,999. This is the latest Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra price as per Amazon as of January 19, 2023. Also, this is for the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is also a top-of-the-line 12GB + 512GB variant available, which prices at Rs. 1,03,999.

Globally, Samsung displayed the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in two configurations: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 1TB, both of which have not yet been released in India. Burgundy, Phantom Black, and Phantom White will be the colours of choice for the Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Design

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra seems more like a Note smartphone than a member of the standard Galaxy S family owing to its unique design. As a result, the top and bottom borders of the gadget are both flat, while the screen curls into its body on the sides. The overall look is more blocky compared to the Samsung Galaxy S22 5G and Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, which have rounded edges.

Samsung has also ditched the contour-cut camera here, instead, the company has introduced discrete camera parts that protrude from the back of the device. The metal rear of the phone has a brushed surface, making it seem more luxurious to the touch. Underneath the display, there is a fingerprint scanner.

Here, it’s important to remember that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is an imposing device. If you have tiny hands, we suggest trying one of these out before making a purchase. For the first time in the Galaxy S series, the S Pen pen can be inserted into the bottom of the phone. Despite being compatible with an S Pen, the Galaxy S21 Ultra of 2021 did not include a slot for the pen to slip into the device.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Display

The 6.8-inch Quad HD Plus display of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a notable feature. You get a smoother picture while gaming and browsing through social media feeds since it employs AMOLED technology and has a customizable refresh rate of up to 120Hz along with 240Hz of touch sampling rate and 1750 nits of peak brightness.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Performance

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC in the United States and certain other countries like India, whereas the Galaxy S22 Ultra is equipped with a Samsung Exynos 2200 in other locations. Both CPU models are available with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM, as well as internal storage ranging from 128GB to 1TB. Also, the connectivity features are top-notch. Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and ultra-wideband are all on board, in addition to broad compatibility for 5G (mmWave and sub-6GHz).

Last but not least, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra runs on Android 12.0-based One UI 4. Four years of software updates and five years of security updates will be provided for the phone. That’s the strongest promise we’ve heard from a phone manufacturer, including Google themselves.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s camera set-up seems surprisingly similar to that of the S21 Ultra on paper. Both the primary 108MP camera and the 12MP ultra-wide one have an 85-degree wide angle of view and both have f/2.2 lenses. Two 10MP telephoto cameras are also available. Space Zoom, a function that lets you digitally zoom up to 100x, has been resurrected on this phone.

New night mode capabilities, dubbed “Advanced Nightography” by the manufacturer, are also available. It has a new 2.4um pixel sensor from the business, which is capable of capturing more light than prior models.

The S22 Ultra features a high-quality front-facing camera with a resolution of 40MP, which seems to provide excellent results.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Battery

When it comes to flagships these days, a 5,000mAh battery is pretty much a standard issue. It’s hardly groundbreaking, but it’s a significant improvement over the Note 20’s 4,500mAh battery. There is no built-in charger for this phone, so you’ll need to buy one separately. There is only 15W of wireless charging available on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which is slower than what is offered on other high-end smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the culmination of the company’s efforts over the previous several years to bring together the Galaxy Note and the top-end Galaxy S smartphones. A lot of good things to say about this phone, including its outstanding specifications and the fact that the S Pen is integrated into the device. A big phone with a stylus at this price point will certainly be the best option in 2022.
