A new study by Australian researchers has revealed that the coronavirus can survive on glass, banknotes and stainless steel for up to 28 days! Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, discovered that the coronavirus remains active for 28 days on plastic banknotes and smartphone screens at 20 degree Celsius. The study’s lead researcher, Shane Riddell states that, “It really reinforces the importance of washing hands and sanitising where possible and certainly wiping down surfaces that may be in contact with the virus.”

- Avoiding excessive wiping.

- Keeping liquids away from the smartphone.
- Not allowing moisture to get into any openings.

According to Apple, the usage of 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipes or Clorox Disinfecting Wipes is the way to go for your smartphone. Moreover, the company also states that this is the best way to wipe down on any nonporous or hard surfaces to protect it against the coronavirus.
