Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G Design and Build

Starting with the design, the Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G features a gradient Kevlar texture on the back panel with a subtle narzo branding on the bottom left. The gradient finish on the back does not attract fingerprints and smudges.

The phone comes in two colour options: Hyper Black and Hyper Blue. I have the Hyper Black variant with me and it looks and feels really good in my hands.

I have to say that the camera unit on the back protrudes quite a bit and the phone wobbles when placed on a flat surface. The phone feels quite light in the hands and perfect for one-hand use.

Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G Left side

The power button is on the right side and its placement was perfect for my hands. The left side has volume keys and a sim tray slot. The bottom has a Type-C port, primary speaker grille and our beloved 3.5mm audio jack.

Coming to the front, the Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G features a 6.4″ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display offers an immersive experience with vivid and rich colours. The display is bright enough for outdoor use with a peak brightness of 1000 nits.

The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. You will find an in-display fingerprint scanner on the front featuring a heart rate sensor. I tried out the heart rate feature and found it pretty cool to see it on a phone.

Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G Camera

For the cameras, Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G has a triple camera setup. It includes a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens and a standard macro lens. On the front, you will see a 16MP selfie camera.

Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G Camera

The photos taken with the primary camera have a lot of details and the colours come out really well. The pictures are very clear and the colour saturation is also good. In addition, the camera app has tons of filters and features to play around with.

The ultrawide lens captured more view but the details were somewhat lost on the way. The images had decent details in the middle but got blurry around the edges.

Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G Macro Camera

The macro shots were not any good as well. The selfies taken were also very detailed and the skin tones looked quite natural.

You can further expand the 8GB RAM up to 5GB using the Dynamic RAM expansion feature. This doesn’t really help a lot but you will be able to run a few more apps in the background. The 90Hz display adds to the overall performance while scrolling and gaming.
