Oppo A12 was launched in India last month and soon the company is ready for the Oppo A12s launch. But before that, budget and specifications are out and this phone is completely worth buying if someone is looking for a smartphone within INR 10,000 bracket.

The company has announced Oppo A12s as the new entry in the A series in Cambodia. It can be easily traced out that the Oppo A12s is simply so much similar to the A12 in terms of the hardware configuration. The smartphone has a 4,230 mAh battery and is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and runs its software on Android v9.0 Pie.
The smartphone is embossed with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a waterdrop notch with a selfies snapper fitted on the front display.

Oppo A12s Specifications
The Oppo A12s sports a 6.22-inches long HD+ display with 720×1520 pixels of resolution. The front screen is remarked with a prominent waterdrop notch and a Corning Gorilla Glass v3 Layer. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and is tightly coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. With 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which could be expanded using a micro-SD card, this smartphone is an ideal option for the user with merely domestic purposes.

The Oppo A12s run its software on Android v9.0 with ColorOS custom skin on top of it. The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for screen and app lock security. Saying of the camera optics, the Oppo A12s features a dual-camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens. The front-notch holds a 5MP snapper for selfie and video calls.
Oppo A12s connectivity features are quite intrinsic. Support to 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, and micro USB port for charging and data-sync well. Certainly, there is no support for fast-charging. The phone seems to derive its power from 4,230 mAh battery. The handset is portable, having dimension – 155.9 x 75.5 x 8.3mm and weighs 165 grams.
Oppo A12s Price
In Cambodia, Oppo A12s price for the sole variant with 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage is $129 which is roughly around INR 9,721. It will appear in two color options – Grey and Blue.
Though the company hasn’t revealed any information about Oppo A12s global availability soon it may happen to be on sale in the Indian market. For sure, this mediocre rage smartphone is worth buying in India keeping aside the Anti-Chinese sentiments.
