A post shared by Nubia President, Ni Fei, directed towards the development of Nubia Red Magic 5S on Weibo saying “Beyond Plus.” The Plus here could likely point toward the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC launched earlier this year.
Nubia Red Magic 5S will launch as a newer version of Nubia Red Magic 5G, unveiled in March this year. The company also further teased that the phone will pack the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC. Though, not much is available on specs of the smartphone apart from the processor.

A launch, Magic 3S, made by the company last year was just a tweaked version of Magic 3G. We can expect it to be the same for Nubia Red Magic 5S.
This smartphone is going against Asus ROG Phone 3 and Lenovo Legion. Both smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC. With these reports, Nubia is getting ready for the launch of 5S. Though, no official launch date is announced.
Pricing
For Nubia Red Magic 5G, the pricing for the storage options 8GB + 128GB is set at CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs. 40,800). On the other hand, a 6GB + 256GB variant carries a price tag of CNY 4,599 (roughly Rs. 49,500).

Red Magic 5G Specs
The smartphone is a dual- SIM card supporting and runs on Android 10 with Red Magic OS on top. The display features a 6.67″ HD+ AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the phone is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 865 SoC with a 16GB RAM.
The phone also houses a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. For the front camera, it sports an 8MP camera.
Red Magic 5G is packed with a 4,500mAh that supports 55W air-cooled fast charging.
Connectivity options on the Red Magic 5G include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is an in-display fingerprint reader as well.
