Nokia G21 Price in India
In India, the Nokia G21 pricing begins at Rs. 12,999 for the basic 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. The phone is also available in a 6GB + 128GB configuration for Rs. 14,999. Nokia G21 Design
The Nokia G21 has a polycarbonate rear with a gradient finish that provides a more secure grip while holding the phone. The top left of the phone’s back has a camera module that is stacked vertically and blends in with the Nordic Blue backdrop. In addition to a USB Type-C connector and a speaker grille on the bottom, the 3.5mm jack is located on the top. Volume rockers and a fingerprint sensor are located on the right side, while the SIM card tray and a dedicated Google Assistant button are located on the left side of the phone. This is a solid smartphone that can withstand a few falls. In spite of the fact that it isn’t the most stylish smartphone in its price range, it is undeniably pleasant to use.
Nokia G21 Display
Its 6.5-inch LCD screen has 1600×720 pixels of resolution and 400 nits of maximum brightness. For a device in its price bracket, the phone provides a decent viewing experience, particularly in terms of specifications. On the plus side, it has a large screen and generally good colours for watching movies. Even when the sun is shining down, the screen remains readable owing to the variable brightness function. However, the combination of a large display and a low-resolution display results in a poor pixel density that is immediately apparent while using the smartphone.
Nokia G21 Performance
In terms of performance, the Nokia G21 is driven by a Unisoc T606 CPU and has up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of expandable storage through a microSD card. It will function well, particularly for a smartphone at this price range. It will also readily handle chores such as surfing the web and writing Google Docs but don’t anticipate it to stay current with gaming anytime soon. On the software front, it runs an unmodified version of Android 11 OS. This results in a pure Android experience devoid of any other applications.
Nokia G21 Camera
In terms of optics, the Nokia G21 has a triple rear camera array comprised of a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. In terms of performance, the phone’s rear camera arrangement is acceptable. While the colours are fairly realistic in the daytime, it lacks clarity. This is true when both the main and macro sensors are used. This is likewise true for photographs shot utilising the night mode in low-light circumstances. The front-facing 8MP camera is no better. It lacks clarity even when there is sufficient ambient light.
Nokia G21 Battery
The Nokia G21 has the same 5,050mAh battery as last year’s Nokia G20. It does not, however, enable rapid charging and comes with a 10W charging adaptor. This means that charging takes an eternity, yet the battery life is enough for the majority of users.
Nokia G21 Verdict
In general, the Nokia G21 is a competent smartphone with certain flaws. While a pure Android experience and a robust construction work in its favour, a mediocre camera and poor display do nothing to help it stand out in a cutthroat industry.
