Nokia 5.4 Price in India
Nokia 5.4 is launched in the global market with a price tag of 189 Euros. Nokia 5.4 is expected to be priced in India around Rs.16,900 but there is no confirmation on the India launch yet.
Nokia 5.4, although being a mid-budget smartphone, gets a very appealing design. So, at the back is a familiar circular camera setup lying above the physical fingerprint scanner. The back design looks pretty good, thanks to the gradient finish that we have already seen on previous devices from the brand. At the front, we do get a slightly thick chin but the side and top bezels are minimal. Polar Night and Dusk are the two available colour options.
The button placement is simple with the power and volume rockers being placed on the right-hand side. We also get a dedicated button to activate the Google Assistant which is located on the left-hand side. At the bottom is where we can find the USB Type-C charging port lying along with the speaker. The placement of the 3.5mm headphone jack is located at the top.
Talking about the display on-board Nokia 5.4, the device boasts in a 6.39” IPS LCD panel which unfortunately gets a resolution of 720×1520 pixels with 269 PPI density. With a good 400 nits of typical brightness and a decent 81.9% screen to body ratio, the display gets a punch-hole cut out that houses its front camera setup.
Nokia 5.4 still runs on the dated and little less powerful chipset which comes under the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series. So, under the hood is Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, which is an octa-core CPU with two cores at a max frequency of 2.0GHz. Accompanying this is an option to choose from 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. We are also offered to expand this storage using a micro-SD card.
Handling the graphical processing is the Adreno 610 GPU and the device runs the latest version of Android 10. Fortunately, Nokia promises two years of OS update and users will also get three years of monthly security updates.
Thanks to the stock Android operating system, Nokia smartphones are equipped with very efficient camera systems when comparing them with their pricing. Talking about the Nokia 5.4, the device flaunts a quad rear-camera module which houses a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The secondary is a 5MP ultrawide lens which is accompanied by a 2MP macro and a similar 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 30fps.
Flipping the phone, we see a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture that is capable of shooting FHD videos at 30fps as well.
The mid-budget smartphone Nokia 5.4 is backed with a 4,000 mAh Li-Po battery that unfortunately doesn’t support any kind of fast charging technology. However, Nokia promises a 2-day battery life by using the AI-assisted Adaptive Battery technology that makes it possible by prioritizing power to the things you use the most
Nokia 5.4 does lag behind other smartphones with a similar price tag when it comes to aspects such as performance and display quality. Also, lack of any fast-charging technology is definitely disappointing for some users. However, stock android experience stands as the USP of the device which no other major smartphone brand offers in the price segment.
