According to the reports, the WhatsApp cashback feature is only available in India for UPI payments, and there is no more information available at this time. It’s unclear which consumers will be eligible for the cashback or what other conditions would apply, but WABetaInfo claims it will be credited within 48 hours after payment. This was discovered in WhatsApp beta version 2.21.20.3 for Android.

Other Features in Works

The company is working on implementing a new group icon-editing function in WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.21.20.2. In the event that they don’t have a picture, users will be able to easily generate icons for groups. Users can also change the icon’s background colour. Because it’s still under development, features like inserting emojis and stickers aren’t available currently, but they’re likely to come in the future.

WhatsApp is also updating the group info page to put chat and call buttons front and centre. The new design features significantly larger chat, audio, and video call buttons. Even the share button will be prioritised so that all group admins may simply share the invite URL. According to reports, all of the above features are still in the works.
