Tenco has silently launched a new smartphone- the Tecno Pop 7 Pro in the African market. The handset is available for purchase in Nigeria and Uganda. It is a rebranded version of the Tecno Spark Go 2023 that debuted in India last month. However, the newly launched handset comes with slightly different specifications.
It is a compact phone with a boxy form factor. The smartphone features a 6.56-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch that has a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. Let us know more about the specifications and other details of the handset in this article.

Tecno Pop 7 Pro: Price And Availability
For the base 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, the handset has a starting price of NGN 64,000 (roughly Rs. 11,400). It is available for purchase in Nigerian and Ugandan markets. The handset is offered in at least two colour options — Turquoise Cyan and Atlantic Blue.
Specifications
The handset comes with a 6.56-inch HD Plus IPS (720×1,612 pixels) with a touch sampling rate of 120Hz and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It features a quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor with up to 6GB of RAM. Moreover, the handset runs Android 12 on top of HiOS 12.0. The smartphone offers a 5,000mAh battery along with a 10W charger.
Regarding camera configuration, the handset features a dual rear camera unit. Led by a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.85 lens and an AI lens. Additionally, it also includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor placed in a drop-cut slot along with a LED flash. It offers up to 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 256GB using the dedicated microSD card slot. Furthermore, the handset supports SIM 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, OTG, and USB Type-C connectivity.
