Swiggy Launches Toing App With Focus On Affordable Meals
Toing offers food at prices lower than Swiggy’s main app. It charges a platform fee of Rs 12 instead of Rs 14.99. It also provides free delivery on orders above Rs 99. The app is live in select areas of Pune, including Kothrud, Hinjewadi, Wakad, Aundh, and Pimple Saudagar. Swiggy chose Pune because the city has many students and young professionals with limited incomes, making it ideal for testing this concept.

This launch comes as the food delivery competition rises. Rapido’s subsidiary Ownly recently started offering quick deliveries and low commissions. Swiggy’s Toing is its newest standalone app, joining others like Instamart, Snacc, and the 99 Store. Unlike Snacc, which focuses on quick canteen-style snacks, Toing specializes in affordable full meals priced between Rs 100-150.
