Xiaomi is getting ready to expand its tablet lineup in India. The company has confirmed that the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G will launch in the country on January 6, 2026. The tablet will debut alongside the Redmi Note 15 5G smartphone.
The upcoming Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G was already launched in select European markets. Now, Xiaomi is bringing the same powerful tablet to Indian users with a focus on battery life, display quality, and performance.
Redmi Pad 2 Pro India Launch Details And Availability
Xiaomi has updated the official microsite to confirm the India launch date. The company has also highlighted the tablet’s biggest strength — its battery.
According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro 5G packs a 12,000mAh battery, which it claims is the largest battery ever in a 12.1-inch tablet. The tablet will support 33W fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging, allowing it to charge other devices.
The tablet will be available in both Wi-Fi and 5G variants. After Redmi Pad 2 Pro India Launch, it will be sold via Mi.com, Amazon India, Flipkart, Xiaomi retail stores, and other offline outlets.
